Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy

We remain unwavering in advocating for social initiatives in critical areas such as education, peace and order, and the arts, to support the nation’s economic and social development. Metrobank’s Corporate Citizenship Strategy is aligned with the UN-SDGs, and is brought to life through the Metrobank Foundation and the Purple Hearts Club (PHC). The Foundation is guided by the values of “Excel, Engage, Empower” (3Es), as it forges partnerships with various stakeholders to expand and sustain the impact of its various CSR programs, it serves communities and sectors that need it most, and encourages grassroots collaboration. Furthermore, the Bank forges formal partnerships with government and non-government entities and works closely with Metrobank branches nationwide to react quickly to disasters, open facilities and offer volunteer opportunities that aid in national development.
