1. The promo is open to Metrobank Peso Visa / Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Visa / Mastercard, M Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good standing only. The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier+ Debit, Prepaid cards and YAZZ Prepaid Visa.

3. Promo period is from February 21-28, 2023.

4. Qualified cardholders who use their Metrobank credit card/s online with an accumulated spend of at least PHP 10,000 will receive a maximum universal eGC worth PHP 500.

5. “Valid spend” includes only all online transactions such as Internet and Mail Order/Telephone Order, foreign currency transactions, and online merchant installment transactions at the nominated Tap2Travel partners.

6. Transactions paid via PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment, mobile wallet, online payment system and those with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to GrabPay, ShopeePay, Lazada Top Up) found in the Metrobank database are excluded from this promotion.

7. Cardholders with qualified and posted transaction/s may redeem the universal eGC by visiting metrobankcard.mymcc.gift >> Joined Promos >> eComm Tap 2 Travel. It will be available to qualified cardholders starting March 28, 2023. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker.

   Note: The link will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP through URLs in email, SMS or phone call.

8. The principal cardholder will receive one (1) SMS with instructions on how to redeem the universal eGC reward based on the following criteria:

   Redemption of each token code is valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the time Giftaway sent out the SMS.

9. A cardholder can only qualify for one (1) incentive throughout the duration of the promo.

10. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in the Metrobank credit card’s database. Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700, and request for a manual transfer of the token codes to the updated mobile number.

11. Principal cardholders with qualified transactions shall receive an SMS notification with instructions on how to redeem the reward or they can also visit Giftaway’s website: metrobankcard.mymcc.gift >> scroll down to Joined Promos >> search eComm Tap2Travel and click the redeem button. For principal cardholders with multiple mobile numbers, Metrobank shall apply the token codes to the first mobile number registered to the primary cardholder’s account in Metrobank’s database.

12. Qualified transactions made by supplementary cardholders will be credited to the principal cardholder’s account.

13. All unredeemed token codes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS.

14. Metrobank will no longer accommodate requests for SMS containing token links for redemptions. Token links will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with BSP Memorandum Circular No. M-2022-015.

15. The promo is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions, fixed priced items, unless otherwise provided.

16. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.

17. Metrobank will not entertain any request to extend the validity of the token code once the redemption period has passed.

18. All terms and conditions relating to the use of Giftaway’s universal eGC redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Giftaway’s universal eGC shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.

19. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the universal eGC but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

20. The terms and conditions governing the issuance of Metrobank Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this Promo.

21. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

22. Any dispute concerning the products or services of Giftaway shall be settled directly between the cardholder and Giftaway, with the concurrence of the DTI.

23. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
