Promo Mechanics

The promo is exclusive to select Metrobank Peso Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, Travel Platinum Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, M Free Mastercard, M Lite Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Vantage Mastercard/Visa, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Visa Plus, Cashback Visa, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard and NCCC Mastercard credit cardholders (CHs) who received the promotion SMS/Viber message from Metrobank. The Promotion is not applicable to Corporate Mastercard, ON Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

The promotion and spend period is from May 25 to June 25, 2023.

The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS/Viber with a reference number from Metrobank. The reference number will be the basis of Metrobank if the customer is part of the campaign. Cardholder who did not receive any SMS with a reference number will not be qualified for the promo. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the list of pre-selected customers for the promo.

Qualified principal cardholder will be eligible to the incentive offer below:

Valid spend includes retail and merchant installment transactions, both online and in-store purchases. Bills2Pay transactions are also considered as valid spend. Valid transactions have to be made within the promo period only.

“Non-Qualified Transactions” includes Payment Arrangement transactions such as finance charges, penalty fees, annual membership fees and other Bank charges, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, PayNow, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promotion.

A cardholder will only qualify for one (1) incentive throughout the duration of the promo.

The cashback will be credited to the cardholder’s Metrobank credit card 15 business days after the promo period.

The cashback earned under this promo will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account with the transaction description: Special Cashback – Shopping Deals Promo.

The cashback is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.

A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.

The terms and conditions governing the issuance of Metrobank Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this Promo.

All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
