Promo Mechanics

The Promotion is applicable only to cardholders in good standing of Metrobank Peso Visa/Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Visa/Mastercard, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa credit cardholders in good standing. The Promotion is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, ON Internet Mastercard, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier + Debit, Prepaid cards and YAZZ Prepaid Visa.

The promo period is from September 15 to October 31, 2022.

Cardholders who shop at any SM Appliance Center branch with a minimum single-receipt 0% installment spend of PHP 30,000 will get a PHP 1,000 SM eGC. Also applicable for Shop Now, Pay Later up to 90 days after.

Not applicable for cash/straight transactions. Only 0% installment up to 24 months and Shop Now, Pay Later (SNPL) up to 90 days are qualified for the promo.

Promo can be availed at all branches of SM Appliance Center nationwide.

Cardholders who met the qualified purchase at SM Appliance Center will receive an SMS with instructions on how to redeem, within 5 business days from the transaction date. Token code links will no longer be sent via SMS, in compliance with the BSP.

How to redeem:
a. Visit the SM Appliance Center promo page in the Metrobank website
b. Visit the redemption page or metrobankcard.mymcc.gift
c. Log in with your Metrobank-registered mobile number
d. Search for the SM Appliance Center promo
e. Claim SM eGC to retrieve the code
f. Present eGC code at the Customer Service of any The SM Store branch

Redemption period for the free eGC is from September 15 to December 31, 2022. All unredeemed eGC code(s) will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS.

Promo is valid in conjunction with discounted item/s at the store, as long as the PHP 30,000 minimum spend requirement is met, net of applicable discounts.

The eGC codes cannot be exchanged for cash, other products, or discounts.

Should the principal cardholder change his or her mobile number during the promo period, only succeeding eGC codes earned will be sent to the new mobile number.

Full installment amount under the 0% installment and Shop Now, Pay Later program shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available credit limit.

All installment purchases are subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit card and all related provisions of Metrobank credit card’s 0% installment program.

All installment purchase/s are subject to Metrobank credit card’s approval and only valid if monthly dues are paid in full.

Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the program period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the discount due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent, or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

The terms and conditions governing the issuance of Metrobank Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this Promo.

Any dispute concerning the products or services related to the Promo offer shall be settled directly between the cardholder and SM Appliance Center, with the concurrence of the DTI.

In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the Promo, the decision of Metrobank with the concurrence of the DTI shall be considered final.
