Promo Mechanics

Registration: Register at mbcpc.co/morewithzeroq3 and enter your Metrobank registered mobile number.

The principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber, or e-mail containing the instructions on how to join the promo. No links shall be sent through Viber or SMS, in compliance with the BSP.

Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT earn and receive a token code. Registration period is from June 15 to August 15, 2023.

Visual Tracker: Cardholder can track his/her token codes and raffle entries at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift through logging in with their Metrobank-registered mobile number. Token codes will be posted on the tracker within five (5) banking days from the date of the qualified transaction. Redemption period for token codes is from June 29 -October 15, 2023. Raffle draw is on August 29, 2023 with redemption of prizes until October 30, 2023. Winners will be notified via e-mail or call-out by Metrobank.

1. The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good standing. The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid.

2. The promo period is from June 15 to August 15, 2023.

3. For any 0% installment or Shop Now, Pay Later transaction using your Metrobank credit card:

   • Get PHP 1,500 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt of PHP 35,000 (12 months and up only).

   • Get PHP 4,000 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt of PHP 75,000 (12 months and up only).

   • Get 1 raffle entry for a minimum single-receipt of PHP 3,000 (all installment terms) for a chance to win PHP 20,000 cashback. A total of 25 winners will be rewarded.

   • Valid for in-store and online transactions. Token codes for universal eGCs or GCash credits re capped at 3x per cardholder.

   • Also applicable for merchant installment transactions with interest.

   • No capping on the raffle submissions

4. To qualify, the principal cardholder must register to the promo and ensure that his/her mobile number is updated in the Metrobank credit card database.

5. Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 and to request for manual registration to the promo. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

6. Only registered users will receive the reward for eligible transactions. Cardholder should be registered before transacting his/her qualified spend, in order to be eligible for the promo.

7. Cardholder can register to the promo by visiting the registration page found in the Metrobank website, from June 15 to August 15, 2023. The cardholder will also receive an SMS or Viber message containing instructions on how to register. An SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number upon successful registration. Only transaction/s made after the successful date of registration will be included in the promo.

   Note: The registration process will only ask for cardholder’s mobile number and verification code sent to the registered mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for the card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

8. Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s.

9. By completing the registration, cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

10. Transaction/s made before successful registration will not be qualified for the promo. For principal cardholders with multiple mobile numbers, Metrobank shall apply the first mobile number registered to the primary cardholder’s account found in Metrobank’s database.

11. By completing the registration, cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

12. A visual transaction/s, incentive/s, and raffle entry/ies tracker where all qualified and posted transactions/s and eGC/s may be accessed at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift or mbcpcp.co/redeem. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker, which will be updated within five (5) banking daysnafter the transaction has been made.

13. Only 1 token will be provided per qualified transaction, subject to the capping on redemptions.

14. Only 1 raffle entry will be provided per qualified transaction.

15. For 0% installment, Shop Now, Pay Later, and interest bearing merchant installment transactions transactions, token codes are capped at 3x per cardholder within the promo period. No capping on raffly entry submissions.

16. Token code will be posted on the visual tracker within five (5) banking days once he or she reaches the minimum spend requirement. Token codes will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

17. Successfully registered principal cardholders will also receive instructions to visit the Metrobank website to redeem codes once he/she has reached the qualified spend. Redeeming of codes must be done until October 15, 2023.

18. All unredeemed codes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholder to extend the validity of the token code and code once the redemption period has passed.

19. Cardholders can redeem the Giftaway Universal eGCs or GCash Credits starting June 29, 2023 at Giftaway partners such as, but not limited to, The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, Lazada, and more. Applicable delivery and other processing service fees from the stores where the eGC/s will be used are not included in the eGC and shall be shouldered by the cardholder. The Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the Giftaway Universal eGC indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply.

20. The Giftaway Universal eGC is transferrable to cardholder’s nominated recipient by clicking on the Share This button. Once clicked, cardholder acknowledges and gives consent that he/she will share the incentive to his/her nominated recipient. Validity of the original token code shall apply. Once the redemption or transfer has been made, Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable to incorrect entry of mobile number where the incentive was shared. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entry upon redemption of the incentive.

21. The redemption period is from June 29 to October 15, 2023. All redemption requests made after the redemption period will not be accommodated. All unredeemed token code/s will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS and tracker website.

22. Metrobank will not accommodate cardholder requests to re-send tokens or eGC code/s due to but not limited to the following reasons:

    a. Code/s sent successfully to the principal cardholder but accidentally deleted by the cardholder, members of their family or friends due to upgrade or reformatting done to the cardholder’s mobile device.

    b. Due to loss, stolen, or defective mobile device;

    c. Code/s sent successfully to the principal cardholder’s registered mobile number maintained in Metrobank credit card’s database during the promo and redemption period.

23. Deadline of raffle entries is on 12:00 AM, August 16, 2023. The time stamp on Metrobank’s platform will be the basis to identify the qualified transactions.

24. The electronic raffle draw will take place on August 29, 2023 and will virtually be held with the presence of representatives from DTI and Metrobank.

25. Winners may only win once.

26. Winners will be notified via e-mail and/or call-out by Metrobank.

27. Winners of the raffle draw must present the following to claim the prize:

    a. One (1) valid and unexpired Government ID; and

    b. Qualified Metrobank credit card

28. A representative may claim the prize on behalf of the winner provided he/she presents the following:

    a. One (1) valid and unexpired Government ID;

    b. Winner’s valid and unexpired Government ID; and

    c. Signed authorization letter.

29. Prizes may be claimed within sixty (60) days from receipt of electronic mail or call-out. Unclaimed prizes within this period shall be forfeited and will be awarded to back-up winners.

30. “Valid spending” includes 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 36 months of 0% installment or Shop Now, Pay Later transactions such as, but not limited to, installment purchases of appliances, gadgets, department stores, jewelry, furniture, home improvements, and more. Also applicable for merchant installment transactions with interest.

31. Other transactions such as PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promo.

32. All Terms and Conditions relating to the use of Universal Giftaway eGC or Gcash Credits redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Universal Giftaway eGC shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.

33. The incentive cost is valid in conjunction with other merchant installment promotions open to all cardholders, unless otherwise stated.

34. Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token after October 15, 2023. All questions and issues will only be accepted within the redemption period or not later than October 15, 2023, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.

35. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.

36. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

37. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

38. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
