Registration: Register at mbcpc.co/morewithzeroq1 and enter your Metrobank-registered mobile number. The mobile number used for registration should be the same number registered to the Metrobank credit card to be used for the promo. Registering a different mobile number will result in non-qualification of transactions.
The principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber, or e-mail containing the instructions on how to avail of the promo. No links shall be sent through Viber or SMS, in compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations.
Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT earn and receive any eGCs or GCash credits. Registration period is from March 15, 2023 to May 15, 2023 only.
The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa credit cardholders in good standing only. The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards and Yazz Prepaid Visa.
The promo period is from March 15, 2023 to May 15, 2023 only.
Qualified cardholders will get the following:
PHP 1,500 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt 0% installment spend of PHP 35,000 (for 12 months and up only).
PHP 3,000.00 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt 0% installment spend of PHP 80,000 (for 24 months and up only).
Valid for in-store and online transactions, capped at 3x only per cardholder.
Also applicable for merchant installment transactions, capped at 3x per cardholder.
To qualify, the principal cardholder must register to the promo and ensure that his/her mobile number is updated in the Metrobank database.
Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700. The cardholder must register the updated mobile number to be eligible for the promo. Only transaction/s made after the successful date of registration will be included in the promo.
Only registered cardholders are eligible to receive the reward for qualified transactions. The mobile number used for registration should be the same mobile number registered to the Metrobank credit card to be used for the promo. Registering a different mobile number will result to non-qualification of the transaction.
Cardholders can register to the promo by visiting the registration page found in the Metrobank website or at mbcpc.co/morewithzeroq1, from March 15, 2023 to May 15, 2023 only. Qualified cardholders will also receive an SMS or Viber message containing instructions on how to register. A confirmatory SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number upon successful registration. Only transaction/s made after the successful date of registration will be included in the promo.
Note: The registration process will only ask for cardholder’s mobile number and verification code sent to the registered mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for the credit card number, expiry date, CVV and/or OTP.
Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s.
For principal cardholders with multiple mobile numbers, Metrobank shall apply the first mobile number registered to the principal cardholder’s account found in Metrobank’s database.
By completing the registration, the cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.
A visual transaction/s and reward/s tracker where all qualified and posted transactions/s and eGC/s or GCash credit/s may be accessed at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift or mbcpc.co/redeem. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker, which will be updated within five (5) banking days after the qualified transaction has been made.
Only one (1) reward will be provided per qualified transaction.
The rewarding of token codes is capped at a maximum of six (6) times only per cardholder within the promo period:
0% installment and Shop Now, Pay Later transactions – capped at 3x only per cardholder.
Merchant installment transactions with interest – capped at 3x only per cardholder
Token codes will be posted on the visual tracker within five (5) banking days once the cardholder reaches the minimum single-receipt spend requirement. Token codes will no longer be sent via Viber or SMS in compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations.
Principal cardholders who successfully registered will also receive instructions to visit the Metrobank website to redeem rewards once he/she has reached the minimum single-receipt spend requirement.
Redemption period is from March 22, 2023 until July 15, 2023 only. All unredeemed rewards will be forfeited after the redemption period or expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholders to extend the validity of the rewards once the redemption period has passed.
Cardholders can redeem the Giftaway Universal eGCs or GCash Credits starting March 16, 2023 at Giftaway partners such as, but not limited to, The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, Lazada, and more. Applicable delivery and other processing / service fees from the stores where the eGC/s or GCash credit/s will be used are not included and shall be shouldered by the cardholder. The Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the Giftaway Universal eGC indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply.
The Giftaway Universal eGC is transferrable to the cardholder’s nominated recipient by clicking on the “Share This” button. Once clicked, the cardholder acknowledges and gives consent that he/she will share the incentive to his/her nominated recipient. Validity of the original reward shall apply. Once the redemption or transfer has been made, Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable for any incorrect entry of mobile numbers to whom the incentive was shared. It is the cardholder’s sole responsibility to enter the correct information before sharing the reward.
Metrobank will not accommodate cardholder requests to re-send eGC/s or GCash credits due to reasons such as, but not limited to, the following:
a. eGC/s or GCash credit/s was/were sent successfully to the principal cardholder, but accidentally or intentionally deleted by the cardholder, members of his/her family or friends, or due to any upgrading or reformatting done to the cardholder’s mobile device;
b. Lost, stolen, or defective mobile device;
c. Due to registration of a new or updated mobile number after the transaction;
d. eGC/s or GCash credit/s was/were sent successfully to the principal cardholder’s registered mobile number maintained in Metrobank credit card’s database during the promo and redemption period, but the cardholder changed his/her mobile number without notifying Metrobank.
Should the principal cardholder request for a change in his or her mobile number during the promo period, only rewards earned after the change will be sent to the new mobile number.
“Valid spend” includes 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 36 months of 0% installment or Shop Now, Pay Later transactions such as, but not limited to, installment purchases of appliances, gadgets, department stores, jewelry, furniture, home improvements, and more. Also applicable for merchant installment transactions with interest and with the same minimum single-receipt spend requirement.
Other transactions such as PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promo.
All Terms and Conditions relating to the use and redemption of Universal Giftaway eGC or GCash credits indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the rewards shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.
The promo is valid in conjunction with other merchant installment promotions open to all cardholders, unless otherwise stated.
Metrobank will not accommodate any cardholder’s request for extending the redemption and validity period of the rewards after July 15, 2023. All questions and issues in relation to the promo will only be accepted until July 15, 2023, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and/or requests.
A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.
Full installment amount under Metrobank’s 0% installment program shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available credit limit.
All installment purchases are subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards and all related provisions of Metrobank’s 0% installment program.
All 0% installment purchase/s are subject to Metrobank’s approval and only valid if monthly dues are paid in full.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the reward, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the reward shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.
All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.
The use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.
By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
