Social Sustainability
5 MIN READ
We uplift communities through education, access to services, and social programs that drive inclusive and lasting impact.
Metrobank’s Corporate Citizenship Strategy is anchored by two pivotal entities: the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and the Purple Hearts Club (PHC). While MBFI drives our broad array of community programs aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), PHC exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism among our employees. To ensure lasting impact, MBFI organizes its programs into six major categories. These include stakeholder engagement, recognition of excellence, visual arts and culture, social development and volunteerism, education, and professional development. Each category is linked to relevant UN SDGs and monitored through clear performance indicators.
