Metrobank celebrates anniversary by donating P30M in philanthropic grants

Meaningful Banking goes beyond achieving business goals. It also means building a nation, through active partnerships with the communities.

As Metrobank celebrates 58 meaningful years, the Bank announced that through Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and Ty family’s GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI), PHP 30 million in grants were allocated to social development partners. It was made during the Bank’s Anniversary Grants Turnover on September 4.

"Metrobank shares in the fervent hope of all Filipinos, most especially the vulnerable and underserved, to get back on their feet. It stands in solidarity with the government, private sector, front liners, and local communities in healing the nation,” said Metrobank President Fabian Dee.

Empowerment through dynamic partnerships is at the heart of Metrobank’s anniversary for the past decades. This 2020, this rings true as it celebrates 58 meaningful years of as an ally of progress.
