Metrobank, in partnership with its insurance affiliate AXA Philippines, hopes to go beyond the basics of financial education by emphasizing the relevance of health and wellness in a person’s financial journey.
“Health is the new wealth,” said Metrobank Chief Marketing Officer Digs Dimagiba. “In line with our promise of providing meaningful banking experiences to customers, we partnered with our sister company, AXA, to be able to provide holistic financial education that integrates health preparedness into the equation of protecting one’s wealth,” Dimagiba continued.
An obvious nod to the old adage, this new direction that Metrobank and AXA are steering towards this year will have both companies initiating activities that combine financial and physiological health. Anchored on #HealthIsTheNewWealth, both hope to achieve this through health-oriented financial literacy seminars and health-focused banking and insurance solutions.
“One of the many things that the pandemic taught us is how important it is for us to be in excellent physical, emotional, and mental condition to be able to reach our financial goals and reap its rewards,” Dimbagiba explained. He also reiterated that, guided by their, meaningful banking promise, they hope that more people will follow the same holistic mindset that Metrobank and AXA are promoting.
AXA is delighted and proud to support Metrobank in helping provide health care protection to their customers. “One of the things the pandemic has taught us is to invest in our health which includes financial preparedness if or when unfortunate health setbacks happen,” said AXA Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Nandy Villar. “Through the #HealthIsTheNewWealth campaign, we hope to provide protection to more people so they can pursue healthy, wealthy, and fruitful lives,” Villar concluded.
