'Claim Your Voucher' Scam

Watch out for the email that is circulating, which invites you to “Claim Your Lazada Voucher.” This email is fake and is pretending to be from Metrobank.

This is the actual fake email:

If you have received this scam email:

• DO NOT click the “Claim Voucher” button.
• DO NOT share your Personal Identification Number (PIN), One-Time Password (OTP), and Card Verification Value (CVV), the 3-digit code found at the back of your card.
• Report the incident. Forward the phishing email or attach it to an email message, and send it to customercare@metrobank.com.ph using “Report on Possible Fraud” as subject.
• Call the Metrobank Contact Center at (02) 88-700-700 or 1-800-1888-5775 to report the incident.
