Promo Mechanics

The promo is applicable to all Metrobank Peso Visa/Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Visa/Mastercard, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good credit standing only. The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Metrobank Prime Debit, Prepaid cards and YAZZ Prepaid Visa cards.

The promo period is from August 8 to September 30, 2023 only.

Enjoy 0% installment for 6, 12, or 24 months through the Samsung Official e-Store in Lazada using your Metrobank credit card. Valid for select Galaxy items only.

How to avail:

• Transact via straight payment using Metrobank card.

• Fill up the Installment Form* via survey.lazada.com/apps/lazada/tftvdc7_s or in the product description of the participating product.

• Receive an SMS that the transaction has been successfully converted* to installment.

*In the event that the submitted information is incomplete and/or inaccurate, your Lazada-Samsung purchase will not be converted to 0% installment and will continue to be posted as a straight transaction. This will be reflected in the next billing statement.

The monthly amortization of each participating product at 6, 12 or 24 months 0% installment is below:

*NOTE: The monthly amortization may change if cardholder applies discount/promo vouchers upon checkout. The NET amount purchased at the Samsung e-store will apply.

Cardholders must choose the Samsung product variant with the corresponding tenor to be able to avail the 0% installment offer.

The transaction will initially be charged to the cardholder’s credit card as astraight transaction. After purchase, cardholder must fully accomplish the installment form through the link in the product description page. Failure to complete the installment form information will result to non-conversion of the transaction to 0% interest installment.

Subject to complete and accurate information submitted in the Installment Form, the straight transaction will be converted into 0% installment within fifteen (15) calendar days after the transaction date, subject to the following:

• Statement of Account: If the transaction is converted before the cardholder’s cut-off date, the installment transaction will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA).

• Statement of Account: If the transaction is converted after the cardholder’s cut-off date, the installment transaction will be reflected in the succeeding Statement of Account (SOA) and the cardholder’s outstanding balance will be deducted by the amount equivalent to the Samsung transaction.

• Minimum Amount Due: If the Samsung Lazada transaction is converted after the cardholder’s statement of account (SOA) cut-off date, the minimum amount due computation will include the full amount of the Samsung Lazada store purchase, plus cardholder’s other retail purchases.

If the cardholder decides to pay an amount less than the total amount due stated in the SOA, the full amount of the Samsung Lazada transaction may be part of the Finance Charge computation that will reflect in the cardholder’s succeeding cycle.

Full installment amount purchased shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available limit at the time of purchase.

All installment transactions and the use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo are subject to the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards and all related provisions of the Metrobank credit card 0% installment program and Balance Conversion program.

All 0% installment purchase/s and balance conversion/s are subject to Metrobank’s approval and only valid if monthly dues are paid in full.

The terms of use and other restrictions of the Lazada platform shall apply.

Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the program period. Should the cardholder receive the offer, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the offer shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

Any dispute concerning the products or services related to the promo shall be settled directly between the cardholder and Samsung, with the concurrence of the DTI. Samsung agrees to hold Metrobank free and harmless from any liability in the event of such dispute.

By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.
