Promo Mechanics

No Registration Required

  1. The promo is exclusive to select Rewards Plus Visa, Cashback Visa, Travel Platinum Visa, Femme Signature Visa credit cardholders (CHs) in good standing who received the promotion SMS/Viber message from Metrobank. The promo is not applicable to Dealer Financing, Mastercard credit cards, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

  2. The promo and spend period is from July 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025.

  3. The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS/Viber with a reference number from Metrobank. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the list of pre-selected customers for the promo.

  4. Qualified principal cardholder will be eligible to the incentive offer below:

  5. The table below shows how the weeks will be considered during the promo period:

  6. Valid spend includes straight retail transactions only. Valid transactions have to be made within the promo period.

    A cardholder can qualify for the incentive once (1) per promo week, with a maximum number of qualifications of four (4) throughout the whole promo period.

  7. Other transactions such as merchant installment transactions, online fund transfers charged to the credit card, transactions with merchant category codes of 6540 (stored value card purchases such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, Maya Cash In, ShopeePay Cash In, GrabPay Cash In), 6010 (cash advances), 6011 (ATM transactions) and 6012 (other financial institution merchandise) found in Metrobank’s database, Cash2Go, Balance Transfer, Bills2Pay, Balance Conversion, PayNow, finance charges, late payment fees, annual membership fees and other bank charges are excluded as valid spend.

  8. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s.

  9. The promo and cashback/points entitlement is based on an account level.

    FOR CASHBACK VISA

    • The cashback will be credited to the cardholder’s Metrobank credit card within 15 banking days after the promo period.
    • The cashback earned under this promo will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account with the transaction description: Special Cashback – Weekly Rewards with Metrobank
    • The cashback is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.

    FOR REWARDS PLUS VISA, TRAVEL PLATINUM VISA, FEMME VISA SIGNATURE

    • The points will be credited to the cardholder’s Metrobank credit card within 15 banking days after the promo period.
    • To convert the points to reward items, the Cardholder may call the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700.
  10. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.

  11. Any dispute related to cardholder’s credit card account shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Hence, all accrued charges on the credit card while the dispute is ongoing shall be for the account of the cardholder.

  12. The terms and conditions governing the issuance of Metrobank Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

  13. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

  14. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the cashback, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the cashback shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  15. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.

  16. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.
