Stack Your Spends: Up to PHP 900 eGC

The Promotion is open to pre-selected Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Free Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa credit cardholders in good standing. The Promotion is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

Promo period is from October 1 to November 30, 2024 only. Redemption period is from October 15 to January 30, 2025.

Pre-selected qualified principal cardholders can get up to PHP 900 eGC when they use their Metrobank credit card/s with a minimum accumulated spend anywhere and online!

A cardholder has an option to complete either or both the accumulated spend requirement and the required number of transactions to get the associated eGCs. The cardholder will only be rewarded once per successfully completed requirement with corresponding qualified transactions.

To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database and is required to register in the promo. No or late registration means no eGC will be provided.

c. In the Available Promos section, click “2024 Stack Your Spends” and enter mobile to register in the promo.
d. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.

Registration via the Metrobank Website

b. Scroll down and click the "Promos button."
c. Search for “Stack Your Spends: Up to PHP 900 eGC”
d. Visit https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift
e. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database.
f. In the Available Promos section, click “2024 Stack Your Spends” and enter mobile to register in the promo.
g. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.

If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. The cardholder is responsible for informing Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changes and/or updates their mobile number and wants to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

To avail of the promo, a principal cardholder must register from October 1 to November 30, 2024 and must follow the registration process stated above. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration. No confirmatory SMS means the registration is not successful. Metrobank will only acknowledge a successful registration if the principal cardholder receives the successful SMS.

Note: The metrobankcard.mymcc.gift powered by Giftaway will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

A registered cardholder will only start earning an eGC for his or her qualified transaction/s once registration is successful. Transaction/s made before the successful registration, so long as he/she successfully registers during the promo period, will be included in computing the total accumulated spend.

Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s.

By completing joining this promo, he or she agrees that his personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

A visual transaction and incentive tracker where all qualified transactions and corresponding incentive will be available to registered cardholders starting October 15, 2024. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker which will be updated within 7 to 10 banking days after the transaction has been posted in Metrobank system. Metrobank will no longer send token SMS with links in compliance with the BSP Memorandum No. M-2022-015.

How to Redeem an eGC:
a. Visit https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift
b. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database.
c. In the Joined Promos section, click check progress under “2024 Stack Your Spends” tab and enter the registered mobile number.
d. Click the "Claim" button then click "Use This" button to get your Universal eGC.

The promo and eGC entitlement are based on a customer level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in the number of entitled token codes.

A principal cardholder is entitled to a maximum of one (1) eGC per customer for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) eGC.

A cardholder who reached the minimum accumulated spend required for the promo will receive a qualified or confirmation SMS from Metrobank and has the option to redeem his or her Universal eGC or GCash credits via Giftaway with partners such as, but not limited to, The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, Lazada, and more by visiting the Giftaway website or visual tracker found in the Metrobank website. The eGC for this promo is applicable to select Giftaway merchants assigned by Metrobank.

Applicable delivery and other processing fees where from the stores the eGC/s will be used are not included in the eGC and should be shouldered by the cardholder. A PHP 15 transfer fee for e-wallet redemption shall apply on a per redemption basis. Transfer fees will be shouldered and charged to the recipient’s e-wallet account. The Giftaway Universal eGC is transferrable to cardholders’ nominated recipient. The terms and conditions relating to the use of the Giftaway Universal eGC indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply. The Giftaway Universal eGC is transferrable to cardholders’ nominated recipient. By clicking the “Share this Button”, cardholder acknowledges that he or she consents to the sharing of the incentive to his or her nominated recipient. The validity of the original token code shall apply. Once the redemption or transfer has been made, Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable for the incorrect entry of mobile number where the incentive was shared. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entry upon redemption of the incentive.

The registered cardholder will receive the incentive in the denomination below:

The redemption period is from October 15, 2024 to January 30, 2025 or within sixty (60) calendar days after the receipt of the SMS. All redemption requests made after the redemption period or after sixty (60) calendar days will not be accommodated. All unredeemed token code/s will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS and self-help tracker.

Metrobank will not accommodate the request of cardholder to cancel, reverse, or apply to other incentives or reward once a valid redemption has been made. All redemptions are considered final. It’s the cardholder’s obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive is correct.

Qualified Transactions:

“Non-Qualified Transactions” include PayNow, PayBills, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promotion.

All terms and conditions relating to the use of Universal Giftaway eGCs redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Universal Giftaway eGCs shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.

The incentive cost equivalent is VALID in conjunction with any ongoing promos.

Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token code once sixty (60) calendar days has passed. All questions and issues will only be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period or not later than January 30, 2025, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.

A cardholder and transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the eGCs. If the cardholder does not pay for their balances because of their concern, Metrobank will not be liable on the accrued charges to their account.

Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the eGCs shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.

By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.
