What are the mechanics

  • Registration: Register at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift and enter your Metrobank-registered mobile number. Only registered users will receive the reward for eligible transactions. Transaction/s made before successful registration will not be qualified for the promo. Registration period varies per campaign run:

    Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700, and to request for manual registration with the updated mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

  • Visual Tracker/Redemption: Cardholder can track his/her cashback for claiming at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift beginning April 15, 2024. All qualified transaction/s will be posted on the tracker within five (5) banking days. Redemption period is 60 days after every promo run.


  1. The promo is exclusive to select Metrobank Peso Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, Travel Platinum Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, M Free Mastercard, M Lite Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Vantage Mastercard/Visa, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Visa Plus, Cashback Visa, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard and NCCC Mastercard credit cardholders (CHs) who received the promotion SMS/Viber message from Metrobank. The Promotion is not applicable to Corporate Mastercard, ON Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

  2. The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS/Viber with a reference number from Metrobank. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the list of pre-selected customers for the promo.

  3. Each cardholder will be assigned to a spend condition which will be reflected on the SMS/Viber/EDM message of Metrobank. The spend condition ranges from PHP 7,000 to PHP 120,000, which can be a single-receipt or accumulated spend type of transaction.

  4. Qualified principal cardholder will be eligible to a 5% cashback based from his/her assigned spend condition. Cashback amount ranges from PHP 350 to PHP 6,000 depending on the cardholder’s assigned spend condition.

  5. Valid spend includes retail and merchant installment transactions, both online and in-store purchases. Valid transactions have to be made within the promo period only.

  6. Promo will be on an account level. Metrobank will notify customers via SMS/Viber on the specific card type to be used for this promo. Only transactions under the identified account or card will be considered as valid spend.

  7. Other transactions such as online fund transfers charged to the credit card, transactions with merchant category codes of 6540 (stored value card purchases such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, Maya Cash In, ShopeePay Cash In, GrabPay Cash In), 6010 (cash advances), 6011 (ATM transactions) and 6012 (other financial institution merchandise) found in Metrobank’s database, Cash2Go, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Bills2Pay, PayBills, PayNow, finance charges, late payment fees, annual membership fees and other bank charges are excluded as valid spend.

  8. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database and is required to register by visiting metrobankcard.mymcc.gift. Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700.

  9. The principal cardholder may register from the identified registration period by visiting the registration page (metrobankcard.mymcc.gift). An SMS confirming successful registration will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for the promo. The time of the successful registration shall be based on the time the notification SMS is sent to the principal cardholder. Cashback will be ready for redemption on the visual tracker within five (5) banking days once the principal cardholder reaches the accumulated spend requirement. Cashback links will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Memorandum No. M-2022-015.

  10. As a reminder, the registration page will only ask for your mobile number and the verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP or other card details via links or web pages found in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

  11. Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s.

  12. By completing the registration, cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

  13. A visual transaction/s and incentive tracker (metrobankcard.mymcc.gift) where all qualified and posted transactions/s and cashback/s will be available to registered cardholders starting April 15 2024. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker, which will be updated within five (5) banking days after the transaction has been made.

  14. A principal cardholder will receive instructions via SMS to visit the Metrobank website to redeem the cashback once he/she has reached the minimum accumulated spend. Cashback must be redeemed within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of promo period. All unredeemed cashback will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of the cardholder to extend the validity of the code once the sixty (60) calendar days has passed.

  15. The cashback will be credited to the cardholder’s Metrobank credit card on the following schedule:

  16. The cashback earned under this promo will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account with the transaction description: Special Cashback – Live More with Metrobank Promo (Run X)

  17. The cashback is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.

  18. A principal cardholder is entitled up to one (1) incentive for the duration of the promo period per unique Metrobank customer. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) incentive that the principal cardholder may be entitled to.

  19. Once the principal cardholder has redeemed one (1) incentive, redemption is deemed final and he/she will no longer be qualified to receive an additional incentive.

  20. The computation of the accumulated spend and cashback entitlement will be based on account level.

  21. Metrobank will not accommodate the request of cardholder to cancel, reverse or apply the code to another incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made. All redemptions made will be considered final. It is the cardholder’s obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive and merchant is correct.

  22. Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token code once the redemption period has passed. All disputes will only be accepted until sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.

  23. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the cashbacks. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of any promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.

  24. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  25. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank.

  26. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
