Who is qualified for the promo?

The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Visa, Metrobank Vantage Visa, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, Travel Signature Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good credit standing only. What are the promo terms and conditions?

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a. The promo is non-transferrable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions of both Metrobank and the merchants, fixed price items, unless otherwise provided.

b. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the discount shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

c. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

d. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of the eligible Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

e. Any dispute concerning the products or services related to the promo shall be settled directly between the cardholder and the merchant, with the concurrence of DTI. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

f. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final.

g. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.

AGODA AND BOOKING.COM TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a. Get a PHP 3,000 cashback for a minimum single-receipt spend of P30,000 on room accommodations by using your Metrobank Visa credit card at Agoda or Booking.com every Thursday from January 8, 2026 to February 26, 2026.

b. Booking and payment must be made and completed every Thursday within the promo period. Transactions that are pre-book, pay later or pay at the hotel are not included in the promo. Cashback is capped for one-time availment per customer, per account every Thursday within the promo period. One-time registration via https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift prior to the booking transaction is required to be eligible for the cashback.

c. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank’s database and is required to register in the promo prior to booking. Registration period is from January 8, 2026 to February 26, 2026 only and is valid for Philippine-based mobile numbers only. Metrobank will only acknowledge a successful registration if the principal cardholder received the SMS confirming successful registration. No registration or late registration shall disqualify cardholders from the promo.

g. A confirmatory SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.

Note: The metrobankcard.mymcc.gift powered by Giftaway will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

d. If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changed and/or updated his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

e. By completing the registration process, cardholders agree that their personal data shall be shared to, collected and processed by Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway, subject to the confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Giftaway.

f. A registered cardholder will be eligible for the cashback for his or her qualified transaction/s once registration is successful. Transaction/s made before successful registration will not earn a cashback.

g. The promo and cashback entitlement is based on a per customer level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in the number of entitled cashback/s.

h. Registered principal cardholders are entitled to a maximum of one (1) cashback per customer number and for each merchant every Thursday within the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) cashback limit per specified promo date.

i. The cashback will automatically be credited to the principal cardholder’s account within 60 business days after the end of the promo period with below possible descriptions, depending on the booking platform the transaction was made:

j. “Qualified Transactions” includes all transactions under Agoda and Booking.com with the following criteria: (1) room accommodation; (2) completed on the specified promo date; (3) meets the P30,000 minimum single-receipt spend requirement; (4) with registration done prior to the transaction; (5) tagged with any of the below merchant category codes; and (6) has not yet breached the cap on availment as stated above.

k. “Non-Qualified Transactions” includes all other transactions that do not meet any of the above-mentioned criteria. This includes pre-book, pay later, and pay at the hotel bookings made via Agoda and Booking.com.

l. A cardholder and his or her transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the cashback. Any concern of the cardholder in relation to his or her card account or this promo shall not be a valid excuse for the cardholder to refuse payment of his or her outstanding balances. Metrobank will not be liable on the accrued charges to his or her account.

TRIP.COM TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

a. Eligible cardholders can use their Metrobank Visa credit card to book flights and hotels through the official Trip.com website (https://ph.trip.com/) or via the Trip.com app every Thursday from January 8, 2026 to February 26, 2026 (“Promo Period”) and enjoy the following discounts:

PHP 3,000 OFF on flights to all destinations for a minimum single-receipt spend of PHP 20,000. Use code MBFLIGHT. Valid for one-time use only per Trip.com account every Thursday within the promo period. Limited to 150 promo codes only.
- Promo/Booking Period: Every Thursday from January 8, 2025 to February 26, 2026 (inclusive of both dates) only.

b. To avail of the Promo Codes during the booking period, the cardholder must:

Log on / register to https://ph.trip.com and choose the applicable flight or hotel accommodation that the cardholder wishes to book. The amount of the flight must be a minimum of PHP 20,000. The amount of the hotel accommodation must be a minimum of PHP 15,000.
Fill in the booking form with the correct details.
Continue to payment page, choose credit card for the payment method, and enter the applicable promo codes:
- MBFLIGHT on the “Coupon” section to redeem the flight discount
- MBHOTEL on the “Coupon” section to redeem the hotel discount
Click “Pay” to complete the transaction.

c. Promotion platform: Available for bookings made on official Trip.com Philippines website & app through URL: https://ph.trip.com/ only. Bookings made on other promotion pages are not eligible for the Promotion.

d. Promotion is applicable for both new and existing Trip.com user. New user must sign up for a Trip.com account to be able to use the Promo Code.

e. Promo Codes are only applicable to the price before taxes and fees have been applied. All booking transactions under the Promotion must be made in Philippine Peso.

f. Promo Codes are valid for bookings paid with the Eligible Cards only.

g. Promo Codes are limited to the total of 300 redemptions (150 for flight promo codes and 150 for hotel promo codes) quota throughout the Promotion Period.

CATHAY PACIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Get USD100 OFF for a minimum single-receipt spend of USD450 using your Metrobank Visa credit card. Use the code CXMB100 when booking through the official site: https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_PH.html. Limited to 115 redemptions only. Promo runs everyday from January 15 to March 1, 2026. Travel period is from January 15 to September 30, 2026.
The promo code is applicable to round-trip or one-way flights originating from Manila or Cebu, with flights marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific in Philippines.
Flights must be booked and paid online at the Cathay Pacific Philippines website, within the promo and booking period.
The promo code entitles the cardholder to USD100 OFF from the total transaction amount of the cardholder’s flight ticket(s), before the application of any taxes, applicable fees/charges, carrier surcharges or additional costs, with a minimum single-receipt spend of USD450.
