The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Prime Debit cards, Metrobank Prepaid cardholders, Metrobank Corporate cards, Metrobank Dollar Mastercard and ON Virtual Mastercard cards.

    A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.
  6. How many cash rebate can I get?
    A principal cardholder is entitled to maximum of one (1) cash rebate per customer for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) cash rebate.

  1.   3. Qualified cardholder can get P500 cashback for a min. single receipt spend of PHP 25,000 when you purchase your Philippine Airlines flight tickets using your Metrobank credit card.

  4. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database and is required to register in the promo. No or late registration means no cash rebate will be provided.

    g. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.

  5. If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changes and/or updates his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

  6. To avail of the promo, a principal cardholder must register from March 2-3, 2026 and must follow the registration process stated in number 4 promo mechanics. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after the successful registration. No confirmatory SMS means the registration is not successful. Metrobank will only acknowledge a successful registration if the principal cardholder received the successful SMS.

    Note: The metrobankcard.mymcc.gift powered by Giftaway will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

  7. A registered cardholder will start earning a cash rebate for his or her qualified transaction/s once registration is successful. Transaction/s made before the successful registration as long as registered will be included in computing the total accumulated spend.

  8. Supplementary cardholder/s is/are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s.

  9. By completing cardholders’ registration, he or she agrees that his personal informational shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

  10. The promo and cash rebate entitlement is based on a customer level. Multiple Metrobank Mastercard credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank Mastercard credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in the number of entitled cash rebate.

  11. A principal cardholder is entitled to maximum of one (1) cash rebate per customer for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) cash rebate.

  12. The cash rebate will automatically be credited to the principal cardholder’s account within 60 business days after the end of the promo period and/ or redemption period with description: PAL’s 85th Anniversary cashback

  13. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to cancel, reverse or applied to other incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made. All redemption will be considered final. It’s the cardholder obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive is correct.

  14. “Qualified Transactions” includes all Metrobank credit card transactions for Philippine Airline flights booked directly via PAL’s channels within the promo period.

  15. “Non-Qualified Transactions” includes all online transactions and other transactions not meeting the above-mentioned criteria for the promo.

  16. The incentive cost equivalent is VALID in conjunction with any ongoing promos.

  17. Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token code once sixty (60) calendar days has passed. All questions and issues will only be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period or not later than May 15, 2026 after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.

  18. A cardholder and transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank Mastercard credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the cash rebate. If the cardholder does not pay for his or her balances because of his or her concern/s Metrobank will not be liable on the accrued charges to his or her account.

  19. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the cash rebate shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  20. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

  21. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

  22. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

  23. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.

  24. If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changes and/or updates his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

  25. All other fee pertaining to the transaction (e.g. service charge, taxes) will be shouldered by the cardholder.

  26. The promo is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-shareable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions, fixed price items, unless otherwise provided.

  27. In the purchase of goods and services which are subject of this promo, senior citizens or persons with disability (PWD) can either avail of the promo or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act 2010 or Magna Carta for Persons with Disability, whichever is higher. However, VAT exemption shall be extended and applied during the event proper. Copy of the Senior/PWD ID should be presented to avail of the VAT Exemption during the event proper. If the Senior / PWD card holder will not be present upon check-in the VAT will be collected accordingly.

  28. The use of the Metrobank Cards in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank cards.

  29. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction subsequently cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should a cardholder receive the discount, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the discount shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit or debit card account.

  30. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

  31. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

  32. Any dispute concerning the products or services, including pricing, related to the promo shall be settled directly between the cardholder and the Philippine Airlines, with the concurrence of the DTI. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

  33. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final.

  34. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
