Redemption Instructions:
The promo is open to select Metrobank Peso Visa / Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Visa /Mastercard, M Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good standing only. The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier + Debit, Prepaid cards and YAZZ Prepaid Visa.
The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS from Metrobank with a reference number. This reference number will be the basis of Metrobank if the customer is included or part of the campaign. Cardholder who did not receive any SMS within the month of September and reference number starting with SEPXXXXX or a callout will not be qualified for the promo. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the list of pre-selected customers for the promo.
Promo period is from September 28, 2022 to October 21, 2022.
Qualified cardholders who use their Metrobank credit card/s ONLINE (straight or 0% installment) will receive a maximum incentive value of PHP 300 worth of GCash credits. Minimum valid single-receipt spend of PHP 500 is required.
“Valid spend” includes only all online transactions such as Internet and Mail Order/Telephone Order, foreign currency transactions, and online merchant installment transactions such as but not limited to installment purchase of appliances, jewelry, electronics and furniture.
Transactions such as PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment, mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to GrabPay, ShopeePay, Lazada Top Up) found in Metrobank database are excluded from this promotion.
A visual transaction/s and incentive/s tracker where the qualified and posted transaction/s and GCash credits can be redeemed may be accessed by visiting metrobankcard.mymcc.gift >> Joined Promos >> eComm NOW or NEVER September Run. It will be available to registered cardholders starting November 14, 2022. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker.
Note: The link will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone call.
A principal cardholder will receive one (1) SMS with instructions on how to redeem the GCash reward based on the following criteria:
Redemption of each token code is valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the time of SMS receipt or send out of the SMS.
A cardholder can only qualify for one (1) incentive throughout the duration of the promo.
To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database. Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700, and to request for manual transfer of the token codes to the updated mobile number.
Principal cardholders with qualified transactions shall receive an SMS notification with instructions on how to redeem the reward to their registered mobile number found in Metrobank’s database or they can also visit Giftaway’s website: metrobankcard.mymcc.gift >> scroll down to Joined Promos >> search eComm Now or Never September Run and click on the redeem button. For principal cardholders with multiple mobile numbers, Metrobank shall apply the token codes to the first mobile number registered to the primary cardholder’s account found in Metrobank’s database.
Qualified transactions made by supplementary cardholders will be credited to the principal cardholder’s account.
The Metrobank credit cardholder has 2 options to redeem his or her incentive:
Redemption via GCash credit. The cardholder will need to enter his or her valid and fully verified GCash account in order to credit the incentive amount. Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable for incorrect entry of mobile number where GCash credit will be sent. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entered mobile number upon redemption of the incentive. Terms and conditions of GCash shall apply.
The GCash credit is transferrable to the cardholders’ nominated recipient. Cardholder will need to click the Share This button. He or she acknowledges and gives consent that he or she will share the incentive to his or her nominated recipient. Validity of the original token code shall apply. Once the redemption or transfer has been made, Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable for incorrect entry of mobile number where the incentive was shared. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entry upon redemption of the incentive.
All unredeemed incentives will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS.
Metrobank will no longer accommodate requests for SMS with token links or tokens for redemptions. Token links will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with BSP Memorandum Circular No. M-2022-015.
The promo is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions, fixed priced items, unless otherwise provided.
A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.

All terms and conditions relating to the use of Giftaway’s GCash credits redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Giftaway’s GCash credit shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the GCash credit but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.
The terms and conditions governing the issuance of Metrobank Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this Promo.
All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.
Any dispute concerning the products or services of GCash shall be settled directly between the cardholder and GCash, with the concurrence of the DTI.
The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
