Promo Mechanics

Promo Period and Offer:

  1. The 2025 Goals Made Real Promo (“Promo”) is open to all qualified clients who will submit complete Car Loan application documents from February 10, 2025 to May 30, 2025 (“Promo Period”).

  2. To qualify for the promo, the Car Loan application must be approved and subsequently booked1 on or before July 31, 2025 (“Car Loan Booking Period”).

    1A Car Loan application shall be considered “booked” upon (1) submission of complete documents required from the Dealer; and if applicable, (2) registration of Security Interest in the Registry and submission of Certificate of Registration encumbered in favor of the Bank as stated in the Notice of Approval conditions.

  3. Qualified clients shall enjoy the following offers:

    a. Waived Fees of up to PHP 60,000.00;
    b. Low interest rate;
    c. Free 1st year AXA Car Insurance; and
    d. Pre-qualification for a Metrobank Toyota Mastercard credit card.

  4. Eligibility criteria are as follows:

    • Application is for purchase or reimbursement of brand-new vehicles for private use only;
    • Loan term should be at least 36 months;
    • Loan amount should be at least PHP 500,000.00; and
    • Mode of payment is strictly via Automatic Debit Arrangement (ADA). Client should have an existing, or must open a savings or current account with any Metrobank Branch.

    Waived Fees

  5. Waived fees up to PHP 60,000.00 are limited only to: (1) Chattel Mortgage Registration Fee; (2) Documentary Stamp Tax (DST); and (3) Notarial Fee. The maximum amount of fee waiver will depend on the loan amount and the actual cost of aforementioned inclusions, which waived fees shall not exceed as follows:

    *Fee waiver is applicable on a per unit basis.

    The waiver of bank fees shall be applied in the following order of priority:

    1st – Security Interest Registration Fees
    2nd – Documentary Stamp Tax (DST)
    3rd – Notarial Fee

  6. Fees beyond the cap or those not included above (such as, but not limited to handling fee) are not covered by the waived fees offer and shall be shouldered by the client.

    Low Interest Rate

  7. Applicable interest rates for 36 to 60-month terms shall be as follows:

    Free 1st year Car Insurance

  8. Accounts booked under the promo will be eligible for a free car insurance from AXA Philippines (AXA) for the first year of the loan.

  9. The free AXA Car Insurance provides coverage for physical damage or theft, Third Party liabilities, personal accident, and Acts of Nature.

  10. Clients availing the free 1st year insurance are required to avail of AXA’s annual lock-in payment option for the entire term of the loan.

  11. Car insurance application is subject to the approval of AXA.

    Pre-Qualification2 for Credit Card Offer

  12. Only individual loan borrowers may pre-qualify for a credit card.

  13. Either the principal loan borrower or the co-borrower may pre-qualify for a credit card, as principal credit card holder. In case either the principal borrower or co-borrower qualifies as principal credit card holder, the other loan borrower may however apply as supplementary credit card holder.

    2Pre-qualification means that client has met the basic eligibility requirements. Issuance of credit card is still subject to review and approval of Metrobank.

    Promo Lock-in Conditions

  14. The loan availed under this promo is subject to a lock-in period equivalent to the entire term of the loan.

  15. During the lock-in period, the client:

    a. Shall not request for amendment of the originally approved interest rate, loan term, and other terms and conditions;
    b. Shall pay the loan amortizations on time and maintain the account in current status throughout the entire loan term; and
    c. Shall not sell, mortgage, dispose, or convert to public utility the vehicle mortgaged while the loan is outstanding.

  16. Client availing the free insurance offer shall renew their AXA Car Insurance coverage for the entire duration of the loan through the annual lock-in payment option.

  17. In case any of the above conditions are violated, within the term of the loan lock-in period, Metrobank will charge back to the client the total fees previously waived by the Bank, which are limited only to: (1) Chattel Mortgage Registration Fee; (2) Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) (3) Notarial Fee; and (4) 1st year Car Insurance previously waived by the Bank. Additionally, the promo interest rate will be forfeited, and regular interest rate shall apply. If client/co-borrower was approved of a Toyota Mastercard credit card,the use of the same will continue to be under the provisions of Metrobank Credit Cards Terms and Conditions.

Access application form below:

  1. All car loan applications qualified for the promo will undergo standard evaluation process of Metrobank, subject to submission and completion of required application documents.

  2. The client shall keep the vehicle for private use only and not convert the same to a public utility vehicle for the entire loan term.

  3. Vehicles sourced from non-authorized dealerships (gray market) are not qualified for the promotion.

  4. The client shall authorize the Bank to hold the release of original LTO OR/CR, Deed of Cancellation/Release of Chattel Mortgage, and other documents relative to the motor vehicle until maturity/full settlement of the loan and/or until any unpaid obligation is settled.

  5. The applicable Waived Fees and Low Interest Rate are fixed, and cannot be availed separately.

  6. Availment of the Free Car Insurance for the 1st year is optional.

  7. The availment of the credit card by the pre-qualified client is optional.

  8. In case of loan prepayment (whether full or partial) during the lock-in period, the following shall be charged to the client:

    a. Processing fee for full payment of loan prior to maturity; plus
    b. Full amount of the Chattel Mortgage Registration Fee, Documentary Stamp Tax (DST), and Notarial Fee previously waived by the Bank; and
    c. Car Insurance premium for the first year shouldered by the Bank.

  9. All pre-qualified Metrobank credit card applications are still subject to Metrobank’s standard credit evaluation and final approval.

  10. The offer is non-transferrable and cannot be converted to cash or be availed in conjunction with other Metrobank Car Loan promotions and/offers. The Bank must be advised in writing if client opts to avail of other ongoing promotional activities or other special considerations.

  11. For items not mentioned in this Promo Mechanics, standard Metrobank Car Loan and Credit Card terms and conditions shall apply. For the Car Insurance, the terms and conditions as prescribed by AXA applies.

  12. Any amendment in the terms and conditions of this offer will be subject to the approval of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

  13. Any dispute or concern regarding the vehicle availed shall be resolved directly between the client and the appropriate dealership. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

  14. Any inquiries, disputes, or concerns on the AXA Car Insurance shall be settled directly between the client and AXA Philippines.

  15. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the client’s availment of the promo, Metrobank’s decision shall be deemed final in concurrence with DTI. These terms and conditions are subject to any relevant laws, government directives, and/or regulations. The promo shall be void if later on found to be prohibited or restricted by law or government regulations.

  16. By joining this promo, the client confirms that he/she has completely read, understood, and agreed to the Promo Mechanics and its terms and conditions.
