Registration: Register at mbcpc.co/redeem and enter your Metrobank-registered mobile number. Only registered users will receive the reward for eligible transactions. Transaction/s made before successful registration will not be qualified for the promo.
Registration period is from November 1 to December 31, 2022.
Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88 700-700, and to request for manual registration with the updated mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.
Visual Tracker/Redemption: Cardholder can track his/her eGCs for claiming at mbcpc.co/redeem beginning November 15, 2022. All qualified transaction/s will be posted on the tracker within five (5) banking days. Redemption period is from November 15, 2022 to March 1, 2023.
The Promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good standing. The promo is not applicable to Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank Debit, Prepaid Cards and Yazz Prepaid Visa.
The promo period is from November 1 to December 31, 2022 only. Redemption period is from November 15, 2022 to March 1, 2023 only.
Qualified cardholders who reach the minimum accumulated spend will received the assigned incentive:
eGCs will be issued in the following denominations:
PHP 500 denomination for the PHP 25,000 to PHP 49,999 spend tier
PHP 1,000 denomination for the spend tiers of PHP 50,000 and up
To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database and is required to register by visiting mbcpc.co/redeem. Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700.
The principal cardholder may register from November 1 to December 31, 2022 by visiting the registration page (mbcpc.co/redeem). An SMS confirming successful registration will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for the promo. The time of the successful registration shall be based on the time the notification SMS is sent to the principal cardholder. eGC will be ready for redemption on the visual tracker within five (5) banking days once the principal cardholder reaches the accumulated spend requirement. eGC links will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Memorandum No. M-2022-015.
As a reminder, the registration page will only ask for your mobile number and the verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP or other card details via links or web pages found in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.
Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s.
By completing the registration, cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.
A visual transaction/s and incentive tracker (mbcpc.co/redeem) where all qualified and posted transactions/s and eGC/s will be available to registered cardholders starting November 15, 2022. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker, which will be updated within five (5) banking days after the transaction has been made.
A principal cardholder will receive instructions via SMS to visit the Metrobank website to redeem the eGC once he/she has reached the minimum accumulated spend. Codes must be redeemed within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of promo period or until March 1, 2023 only. All unredeemed codes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of the cardholder to extend the validity of the code once the sixty (60) calendar days has passed.
A principal cardholder is entitled up to one (1) incentive for the duration of the promo period per unique Metrobank customer. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) incentive that the principal cardholder may be entitled to.
Once the principal cardholder has redeemed one (1) incentive, redemption is deemed final and he/she will no longer be qualified to receive an incentive from the higher spend requirements even if qualified.
The computation of the accumulated spend and eGC entitlement will be based on a customer level.
The registered cardholder who reached the accumulated spend can redeem the incentives via:
Giftaway universal eGC/s (such as but not limited to The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, and Lazada): Delivery and other processing fees from where the stores the eGC/s will be used are not covered by the eGC amount and will be shouldered by the cardholder. The terms and conditions relating to the use of the Giftaway Universal eGC indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply.
GCash credits: The cardholder will need to enter his or her valid and fully verified GCash account in order to credit the incentive amount. Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable for incorrect entry of mobile number where GCash incentive will be sent. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entered mobile number upon redemption of the incentive. Terms and conditions of GCash shall apply.
The redemption period is from November 15, 2022 to March 1, 2023, or within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period. All redemption requests made after the redemption period will not be accommodated. All unredeemed eGC/s will be forfeited after this date.
Metrobank will not accommodate the request of cardholder to cancel, reverse or apply the code to another incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made. All redemptions made will be considered final. It is the cardholder’s obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive and merchant is correct.
“Qualified Transactions” include all retail straight transactions such as purchases at groceries, department stores, gasoline stations, restaurants, Internet, and Mail Order/Telephone Order, foreign currency transactions, etc.
“Non-qualified Transactions” such as installment transactions, PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this Promo.
All Terms and Conditions relating to the use of Universal Giftaway eGC and GCash credits redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Universal Giftaway eGC and GCash credit shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.
The promo may not be availed in conjunction with other ongoing promos, unless otherwise stated.
Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token code once the redemption period has passed. All disputes will only be accepted until sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period or not later than March 1, 2023, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.
A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the eGCs. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of any promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.
All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank.
All Terms and Conditions relating to the use of Universal Giftaway eGC redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Universal Giftaway eGC shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.
The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
