The Metrobank World Card 3x Rewards Points on Online Spend and Hotel Stays Promo (“Promo”) is open to all existing and newly approved Metrobank World Card credit cardholders in good credit standing only (“Cardholder”). Good credit standing refers to cardholders whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, those whose Metrobank credit cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions.
The Promo will run from October 28, 2024 to October 27, 2025 only.
Metrobank World Cardholders shall earn one (1) Reward Point for every PHP 20 spend on transactions that fall under multiple eligible merchant categories including online and hotel stays transactions.
Online transactions refer to purchases made at e-commerce merchants in the Philippines or abroad / outside the Philippines, which are identified by system indicators as e-commerce transactions. Hotel stays refer to transactions made at online or in-store merchants in the Philippines abroad or outside the Philippines, which are identified by system indicators as hotel stays transactions. These transactions should be processed by the respective merchants as hotel stays transactions, through the Mastercard/Visa network. These indicators are defined by the relevant merchants and/or their respective acquirer and are not defined by Metrobank.
For posted online and hotel stays transactions, Cardholders shall earn an additional two (2) Rewards Points or a total of three (3) Rewards Points for every PHP 20 spend.
The Rewards Points are computed on a per transaction basis and shall be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
Cardholders shall only earn a maximum of three (3) Rewards Points for every PHP 20 spend regardless whether a single transaction falls under multiple eligible categories.

Rewards Points accumulated by both principal and supplementary cardholders shall be credited to the principal’s account within two (2) statement cycles from transaction date.
Rewards Points earned from this Promo can be exchanged for rewards items specified in the Metrobank Card Rewards Catalogue, applied as payment for annual fees, converted to air miles or cash credits/rebates, or donated to charity by checking Metrobank Interactive Assistant (MIA) via Facebook Messenger at m.me/MiaOfMetrobankCard.
For airmiles conversion, the Rewards Points required to redeem 1 air mile is 2.5 points. With the 3 Rewards Points for every PHP 20 spend on eligible transactions, Cardholders shall, in effect, be entitled to earn 1 air mile for every PHP 17 spend. For the other transaction categories, Cardholders may earn 1 air mile for every PHP 50 spend. To illustrate:

Rewards Points are only redeemable by the Cardholder if his/her account is active and remains in good credit standing at the time of redemption. Unused Rewards Points will be forfeited after the voluntary or involuntary cancellation of his/her credit card.
Rewards Points are not cancellable, not transferable and are not convertible to cash. Other than their intended use in this Promo, the Rewards Points hold no other commercial or financial value.
This Promo is subject to the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions and the Metrobank Credit Card Rewards Program.
Metrobank, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the program as deemed necessary with prior notice in a manner Metrobank deems appropriate, without prejudice to approved applications prior thereto.
Metrobank reserves the right to reverse or charge to the Cardholder’s credit card account the equivalent rewards points earned on transactions that were subsequently cancelled or charged back due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify any Cardholder from further participation in this Promo if the Cardholder defaults in his payment or, if in Metrobank’s judgement, the said Cardholder defaults in his payment, or if in Metrobank’s judgement, the said Cardholder has violated these Terms and Conditions and/or the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions, and Metrobank’s Foreign Exchange Program.
By joining or availing of this Promo, the Cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
