• Registration: Register at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift by selecting “FREE McDonald’s Meal” and entering your Metrobank-registered mobile number. The principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber message or e-mail containing the instructions on how to join the promo. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT be qualified for the promo.

  Registration period is from August 15 to October 15, 2024.

  Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700, and to request for manual registration with the updated mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

• Visual Tracker/Redemption: Cardholder can track their McDo bCode/s (to be used for claiming at McDonald’s branches) for redemption at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift beginning August 22, 2024. All qualified transaction/s will be posted on the tracker within seven (7) banking days. Redemption period is until December 15, 2024.

The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard, M Free Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, and Toyota Mastercard cardholders in good credit standing only. The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Visa Credit Cards, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid Cards.

2. Promo and registration period is from August 15 to October 15, 2024. Redemption period is from August 22 to December 15, 2024.

3. Qualified principal cardholder who uses their Metrobank credit card and spends at least PHP 3,000 on select categories (straight transactions) can enjoy a FREE McDonald’s 1-pc. Chicken McDo with Rice and Drink (Medium).

   NOTE: For USD transactions, corresponding foreign exchange conversion rates and fees will apply. Final amount must equate to PHP 3,000 when converted.

4. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank’s database and is required to register for the promo. Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 and to request for manual registration to the promo. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

5. The principal cardholder must register for the promo by visiting the registration page found in the Metrobank website from August 15 to October 15, 2024 and entering his/her Metrobank-registered mobile number. A confirmatory SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for the promo. Metrobank will not accommodate any request to be rewarded for transactions made before or without registration due to lack of awareness. The time of the successful registration shall be based on the time the notification SMS was sent to the principal cardholder.

6. As a reminder, the registration page will only ask for the cardholder’s mobile number and the verification code sent to the cardholder’s mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for the cardholder’s card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP or other card details via links or web pages found in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

7. Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s

8. By completing the registration, the cardholder agrees that his/her personal data shall be shared to, collected and processed by Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway, and shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Giftaway.

9. A visual transaction and tracker will be available to registered cardholders starting August 22, 2024. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker once set up in the Giftaway portal via metrobankcard.mymcc.gift. Prior transactions will be shown upon the tracker set-up date, while transactions made subsequent to the tracker set-up date will be reflected within seven (7) banking days after the qualified transaction has been made.

10. Principal cardholders will receive instructions via SMS to visit the Metrobank website to redeem the McDonald’s bCode/s once he/she has reached the minimum required spend. McDonald’s bCodes must be redeemed within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of promo period or until December 15, 2024. All unredeemed bCodes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholder to extend the validity of the bCode once the redemption period has passed.

11. Cardholders can only earn one (1) McDonald’s bCode per qualified transaction.

12. McDonald’s bCodes may be redeemed in all McDonald’s branches nationwide via front counter dine-in/take-out or drive-thru.

13. Each unique McDonald’s bCode may only be used once. It shall be the cardholder’s responsibility to protect the bCodes against unauthorized use. In case of doubt, Metrobank and McDo’s internal database shall be the basis to determine whether a bCode has already been consumed and whether a cardholder has exceeded the redemption limit.

14. "Qualified Transactions” include straight transactions (whether card present or online) that fall under the following categories:

15. “Non-qualified Transactions” include straight transactions (whether card present or online) that do not fall under aforementioned categories (e.g. groceries, pharmacies and drug stores, gas stations, airlines, hotels and all others not aforementioned), installment transactions, PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, Pay Bills via Metrobank App, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database.

16. The computation of the spend requirement and incentive entitlement will be based on a customer level. Each unique Metrobank customer is entitled to up to ten (10) McDonald’s redemptions/bCodes for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the incentive computation that the principal cardholder may be entitled to.

17. The terms and conditions relating to the use of the Giftaway platform shall apply.

18. The terms and conditions relating to the use of McDonald’s bCodes shall apply.

19. Any dispute related to the use of the products or services redeemed shall be coursed through Metrobank or McDonald’s. Metrobank shall not be responsible for any liability in the event of such dispute.

20. The promo may not be availed in conjunction with other ongoing promos, unless otherwise stated.

21. All disputes and issues relating to the promo will only be accepted until sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period or not later than December 15, 2024.

22. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the McDonald’s bCodes. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of any promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment by the cardholder of his/her credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.

23. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

24. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

25. The use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.

26. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.
