PROMO HIGHLIGHTS

1. What is the promo offer?

   Metrobank credit cardholders will exclusively get the following when they shop at SM Store branches during the scheduled SM 3-Day or 5-Day sale:

   • 5% OFF on straight transactions for a minimum single-receipt spend of PHP 5,000 capped at a maximum discount of PHP 1,000 plus

   • 5% OFF on 0% installment plus Shop Now, Pay Later for a minimum single-receipt spend of PHP 15,000 capped at a maximum discount of PHP 3,000

2. When and where is the promo applicable?

   Promo is applicable at SM Stores with the following SM 3-day sale schedule

   • All Metrobank Peso Visa / Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Visa / Mastercard, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Visa, Travel Platinum Visa and Travel Signature Visa

   • Credit cardholder must be of good credit standing only.

4. What are the excluded cards / credit cards for the promo?

   • Promo is not applicable to ON Virtual Mastercard, Metrobank Corporate Cards, Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier + Debit, and Prepaid cards.

GENERAL MECHANICS

1. The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Visa / Mastercard, Metrobank Vantage Visa / Mastercard, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Visa, Travel Platinum Visa and Travel Signature Visa in good credit standing only. The promo is not applicable to ON Virtual Mastercard, Metrobank Corporate Cards, Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier + Debit and Prepaid cards.

2. Promo will run during the SM 3-Day Sale with the following schedule per branch:

3. Metrobank credit cardholder will exclusively get the following when they shop at SM Store branches during the scheduled SM 3-Day or 5-Day sale:

   • 5% OFF on straight transactions for a minimum single-receipt spend of P5,000 capped at a maximum discount of PHP 1,000 plus

   • 5% OFF on 0% installment plus Shop Now, Pay Later transactions for a minimum single-receipt spend of PHP 15,000 capped at a maximum discount of PHP 3,000

4. The minimum purchase requirement is defined as net of all applicable discounts (i.e., class discounts, SM Advantage/SM Prestige discounts and other SM discounts).

5. Promo is applicable to instore and Personal Shopper via card-present transactions only. Online transactions are excluded from the promo.

6. The promo is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

7. Splitting of transaction for the purpose of availing multiple discounts is prohibited. Splitting of transaction is defined as an intentional act of dividing a merchant transaction into multiple charge slips to redeem more than one reward incentive. A presumption of splitting of transaction arises when there are 2 or more transactions in one merchant outlet or establishment, and the interval of these transactions were made within 5-10 minutes.

8. Full installment amount under the Metrobank 0% installment program shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available credit limit.

9. All installment purchases are subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards and all related provisions of Metrobank credit card’s 0% installment program.

10. All installment purchases are subject to Metrobank’s approval and only valid if monthly dues are paid in full.

11. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the discount, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the offer due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive and shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

12. The use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards. In such a dispute, SM Store shall have no liability.

13. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

14. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

15. Any dispute concerning the products or services, including pricing, related to the promo offer shall be settled directly between the cardholder and SM Store, with the concurrence of the DTI. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

16. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of and eligibility for the promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final.

17. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
