Promo Mechanics

  • Registration: Register at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift and enter your Metrobank-registered mobile number. Only registered users will receive the reward for eligible transactions. Transaction/s made before successful registration will not be qualified for the promo. Registration period varies per campaign run:

    Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700, and to request for manual registration with the updated mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.
  • Visual Tracker/Redemption: Cardholder can track his/her cashback for claiming at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift beginning October 16, 2024. All qualified transaction/s and incentive/s earned prior to October 16, 2024 will be posted on the tracker once it goes live, while qualified transaction/s and incentive/s earned thereafter will be posted within five (5) banking days. Redemption period is until 60 calendar days after every promo run.


  1. The promo is exclusive to select Metrobank Peso Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, Travel Platinum Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, M Free Mastercard, M Lite Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Vantage Mastercard/Visa, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Visa Plus, Cashback Visa, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard and NCCC Mastercard credit cardholders (CHs) who received the promotion SMS/Viber message from Metrobank. The Promotion is not applicable to Corporate Mastercard, ON Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

  2. The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS/Viber message with a reference number from Metrobank. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the list of pre-selected customers for the promo.

  3. Each cardholder will be assigned to a spend condition which will be reflected on the SMS/Viber/EDM message of Metrobank.

  4. Qualified principal cardholder will be eligible to a cashback based from his/her assigned spend condition. Cardholders acknowledge that Metrobank has the sole discretion to assign principal cardholders to their corresponding spend conditions.

  5. Cardholders acknowledge that Metrobank has the sole discretion to assign principal cardholders to their corresponding spend conditions. Metrobank will not accommodate requests of cardholders to change their assigned spend conditions.

  6. Valid spend includes retail and merchant installment transactions, both online and in-store purchases. Valid transactions have to be made within the promo period only.

  7. Promo will be on an account level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same account number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Metrobank will notify cardholders via SMS/Viber message on the specific card type to be used for this promo. Only transactions under the identified account or card will be considered as valid spend.

  8. Other transactions such as online fund transfers charged to the credit card, transactions with merchant category codes of 6540 (stored value card purchases such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, Maya Cash In, ShopeePay Cash In, GrabPay Cash In), 6010 (cash advances), 6011 (ATM transactions) and 6012 (other financial institution merchandise) found in Metrobank’s database, Cash2Go, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Bills2Pay, PayBills, PayNow, finance charges, late payment fees, annual membership fees and other bank charges are excluded as valid spend.

  9. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database and is required to register by visiting metrobankcard.mymcc.gift. Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700.

  10. The principal cardholder may register within the identified registration period by visiting the registration page (metrobankcard.mymcc.gift). An SMS confirming successful registration will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for the promo. The time of the successful registration shall be based on the time the confirmatory SMS is sent to the principal cardholder.

  11. As a reminder, the registration page will only ask for your mobile number and the verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP or other card details via links or web pages found in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

  12. Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s.

  13. By completing the registration, cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

  14. A visual transaction/s and incentive tracker (metrobankcard.mymcc.gift) will be available to registered cardholders starting October 16, 2024. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker. All qualified transaction/s and incentive/s earned prior to October 16, 2024 will be posted on the tracker once it goes live, while qualified transaction/s and incentive/s earned thereafter will be posted within five (5) banking days after the qualified transaction has been made.

  15. Cashback will be ready for redemption on the visual tracker beginning October 16, 2024, while cashbacks earned thereafter shall be ready for redemption within five (5) banking days once the principal cardholder reaches the spend requirement. Cashback links will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Memorandum No. M-2022-015.

  16. A qualified cardholder will receive instructions via SMS/Viber to visit the Metrobank website to redeem the cashback once his/her has minimum spend requirement is met. Cashback must be redeemed within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of promo period. All unredeemed cashback will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholders to extend the validity of the code once the redemption period has passed.

  17. The cashback will be credited to the cardholder’s Metrobank credit card on the following schedule:

  18. The cashback earned under this promo will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account with the transaction description: Special Cashback - Explore More with Metrobank.

  19. The cashback is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.

  20. A principal cardholder is entitled up to one (1) incentive for the duration of the promo period per unique Metrobank customer. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the one (1) incentive that the principal cardholder may be entitled to.

  21. Once the principal cardholder has redeemed one (1) incentive, redemption is deemed final and he/she will no longer be qualified to receive an additional incentive. Metrobank will not accommodate requests of cardholders to cancel, reverse or apply the code to another incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made.

  22. The computation of the accumulated spend and cashback entitlement will be based on account level.

  23. All disputes will only be accepted until sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period.

  24. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the cashbacks. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of any promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.

  25. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the cashback, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the cashback shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  26. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

  27. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.

  28. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.
