Promo Mechanics

PROMO OFFER:

  • Promo runs from July 15 to October 15, 2025

  • For every spend at any local grocery or supermarket stores nationwide, customer can earn up to PHP 10,000 eGCs.

  • Customers who will meet the following accumulated spend will get the following eGCs.

PROMO HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Registration: Register at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift and enter your Metrobank-registered mobile number. The principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber message, or e-mail containing the instructions on how to join the promo. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT be qualified for the promo.

  • Registration period: is from July 15, 2025 to October 15, 2025

    • Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700, and to request for manual registration with the updated mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.
  • Visual Tracker: Cardholder can track their accumulated spend and earned rewards at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift beginning August 1, 2025 after they registered. Prior transaction/s will be shown upon the tracker set-up date, while transaction/s made subsequent to the tracker set-up date will be reflected within seven (7) banking days after the qualified transaction has been made.

  • Redemption: Once a cardholder reaches Tier 1 or Tier 2 or Tier 3, they have the option to claim the reward at that level and forgo earning higher-tier rewards, or they can continue accumulating spend to qualify for a bigger reward. At the end of the promo period, the cardholder can only claim one reward – the highest tier they have qualified for based on their total accumulated spend during the promo period. Multiple tier rewards cannot be combined. Redemption is until December 15, 2025 only.

PROMO MECHANICS

  1. The promo is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Free Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, Travel Signature Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders in good credit standing only. The promo is not applicable to ON Virtual Mastercard, Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier + Debit, and Prepaid Cards.

  2. Promo and registration period is from July 15, 2025 to October 15, 2025. Redemption period is from August 1, 2025 to December 15, 2025 only.

  3. All cardholders who will spend at the merchants under the grocery and supermarket category can earn the following rewards when they meet the following accumulated spend:

  4. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank’s database and is required to register for the promo. Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period or after successful registration, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 and to request for manual registration to the promo. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

  5. The principal cardholder must register for the promo by visiting the registration page found in the Metrobank website from July 15, 2025 to October 15, 2025 and entering his/her Metrobank-registered mobile number and the Registration/Verification Code sent to the registered mobile number. An SMS confirming successful registration will be sent. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for the promo. The time of the successful registration shall be based on the time the notification SMS was received by the principal cardholder.

    Note: The registration page will only ask for the cardholder’s mobile number and the Registration/Verification Code sent to the mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for the card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP or other card details via links or web pages found in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.

  6. Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the principal cardholder’s transaction/s.

  7. By completing the registration, the cardholder agrees that his/her personal data shall be shared to Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway, and shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Giftaway.

  8. A visual transaction and incentive tracker (https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift/) where all qualified and posted transactions/s, total accumulated spend, and rewards will be available to all registered cardholders starting August 1, 2025. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker. Prior transaction/s will be shown upon the tracker set-up date, while transaction/s made subsequent to the tracker set-up date will be reflected within seven (7) banking days after the qualified transaction has been made.

  9. “Qualified Transactions” for the accumulated spend includes local straight transactions for purchases made under the grocery and supermarket category (MCC Codes: 5298, 5300, 5411, 5412, 5422, 5441, 5451, 5462, 5499) subject to the minimum accumulated spend criteria set above.

  10. “Non-qualified Transactions” include all merchant installment transactions, mobile payments / mobile wallet transactions, all international transactions, online payment system, transactions with merchant category code that is NOT 5411, as well as PayNow, Bills2Pay, Cash Advance, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, and Cash2Go transactions.

  11. A principal cardholder is entitled to choose 1 reward only. If they reached Tier 1 or Tier 2 or Tier 3, they can choose to claim the reward at that tier or continue accumulating spend toward a higher tier. Final rewards will be based on the highest qualified tier at the end of the promo period. Rewards are not stackable across tiers.

  12. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the incentive computation that the principal cardholder may be entitled to.

  13. The computation of the required accumulated spend per tier will be based on a customer level regardless if he/she has multiple cards.

  14. Successfully registered principal cardholders will receive instructions to visit the Metrobank website to redeem their earned rewards. Redemption of eGCs is until December 15, 2025 only.

  15. Cardholders can redeem the Giftaway Universal eGCs or GCash credits starting August 1, 2025 at Giftaway partners such as, but not limited to, The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, Lazada, and more. Applicable delivery and other processing service fees from the stores where the eGC/s will be used are not included in the eGC and shall be shouldered by the cardholder.

  16. A P15 transfer fee for e-wallet redemption shall apply on a per redemption basis. Transfer fees will be shouldered and charged to the recipient.

  17. Deadline for earning of transactions is on 11:59 p.m., October 15, 2025. The time stamp on Metrobank’s platform will be the basis for the timing of the qualified transactions.

  18. All eGCs earned is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

  19. All unredeemed codes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and the visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholders to extend the validity of the token codes once the redemption period has passed. Metrobank will also not accommodate requests to convert eGCs or GCash credits tokens to cash, cashbacks or credit adjustments to the principal cardholder’s statement of account.

  20. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo and forfeits their right to the promo rewards if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the prize. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of the promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.

  21. The promo may not be availed in conjunction with other ongoing promos, unless otherwise stated.

  22. All disputes will only be accepted until sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period or not later than December 15, 2025.

  23. Metrobank will not accommodate cardholders’ request to be rewarded for transactions made without registration due to lack of awareness for the promo.

  24. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  25. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

  26. All terms and conditions relating to the use of registration, redemption portal, Universal Giftaway eGCs indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply.

  27. The use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions.

  28. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms and conditions.
