APPLICABLE TO PRE-SELECTED CUSTOMERS ONLY.
Registration: The pre-selected principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber message or e-mail blast containing the registration process at the start of the promo period. Once the SMS is received, a cardholder may register at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift, click Choose PayNow and enter the mobile number found in Metrobank’s database. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT earn and receive a token link and code.
Qualified Transactions: Upon successful registration, principal cardholder who send money for a minimum spend of PHP 25,000 via PayNow using their Metrobank credit card can earn PHP 1,000 worth of token code. “Qualified Transactions” includes only PayNow transactions and should not be transferred to cardholder’s account.
How to Redeem the Token Code:
a. Visit metrobankcard.mymc.gift
b. Click Check Progress under Choose PayNow tab
c. Click Claim and choose Universal eGC to get the token code
d. To get the token code, click Use This button to get the token code
Only the principal cardholder can access the self-help tracker which will be updated within 5 to 7 banking days after the transaction has been made.
The Promotion is open to pre-selected Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa credit cardholders in good standing. The Promotion is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.
The promo period is from September 15 to November 14, 2022.
Qualified principal cardholder who send money via PayNow for a minimum spend of PHP 25,000 using his or her Metrobank credit card can earn PHP 1,000 token code.
The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS, Viber message, or an eMail from MCC / Metrobank with a reference number. Cardholder who did not receive any SMS, Viber message or eMail with reference number will not be qualified for the promo. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the pre-selected customer for the promo.
To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank credit card’s database and is required to register in the promo.

Should there be any changes in the mobile number or contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his or her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700. A registered customer will not be automatically registered in the promo if he or she changes or updates his or her mobile number.
To avail of the promo, a principal cardholder must register within from September 15 to November 14, 2022 and must follow the registration process stated in number 5 promo mechanics. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration. Transaction made 1 hour after the successful registration will earn a toke code. Transaction/s made before successful registration will NOT qualify for a token code. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include and send token code for transaction made before successful registration.
Note: The metrobankcard.mymcc.gift powered by Giftaway will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.
If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changes and/or updates his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.
Supplementary cardholder/s is/are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s.
By completing cardholders’ registration, he or she agrees that his personal informational shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.
A visual transaction and incentive tracker where all qualified transaction and incentive will be available to registered cardholders starting by October 6, 2022. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker which will be updated within 15 banking days after the transaction has been made. Metrobank will no longer send token SMS with links in compliance with the BSP Memorandum No. M-2022-015.

Once the principal cardholder reached the PHP 25,000 minimum spend, he or she will receive an SMS on how to claim the PHP 1,000 token code which is also stated in the promo highlight above or in promo mechanics number 5. In the Giftaway website or visual tracker, a cardholder must click the Use This button within sixty (60) calendar days after the receipt of the confirmation or qualified SMS to get the token code posted in the website. All unredeemed token code will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the website. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to extend the validity of the token code once the sixty (60) calendar days has passed.
Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in the number of entitled token code of their principal cardholder.
A principal cardholder is entitled of only one (1) token for the duration of the promo period per unique Metrobank credit card. Supplementary cardholder transaction will be included in the computation of the one (1) token code.
The token code entitlement will be based on customer level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and posted transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in computing for the total minimum accumulated spend. A cardholder will only qualify for one (1) incentive throughout the promo period regardless if spend exceeds the minimum spend.
Metrobank will no longer accommodate request of the cardholder in re-sending requests for token codes such as, but not limited to the following reasons:
The registered cardholder who reached the PHP 10,000 minimum spend by sending money via PayNow will receive a qualified or confirmation SMS from Metrobank/MCC and may redeem his or her token code by visiting the metrobankcard.mymcc.gift and click Choose PayNow or the Metrobank website > scroll down to Featured Promotions > Swipe through and click View More > Choose PayNow. The token code for this promo is applicable to select Giftaway merchants assigned by Metrobank.
Applicable delivery and other processing fees where from the stores the token code will be used are not included in the token code and should be shouldered by the cardholder. The terms and conditions relating to the use of the token code indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply. The token code is transferrable to cardholders’ nominated recipient. By clicking the “Share this Button”, cardholder acknowledges that he or she consents to the sharing of the incentive to his or her nominated recipient. Validity of the original token code shall apply. Once the redemption or transfer has been made, Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable for the incorrect entry of mobile number where the incentive was shared. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entry upon redemption of the incentive.
The registered cardholder will receive the incentive in the denomination below:
The redemption period is until January 13, 2023 or within sixty (60) calendar days after the receipt of the SMS. All redemption requests made after the redemption period or after sixty (60) calendar days will not be accommodated. All unredeemed token code/s will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS and self-help tracker.
Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to cancel, reverse or applied to other incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made. All redemption will be considered final. It’s the cardholder obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive is correct.
“Qualified Transactions” includes PayNow transactions transferred to other bank account. PayNow transferred to cardholders account will not earn a token code.
“Non-Qualified Transactions” includes other retail purchases at groceries, department stores, gasoline stations, restaurants, Internet, and Mail Order/Telephone Order, foreign currency transactions, etc; and 0% merchant installment and Shop Now, Pay Later transaction such as but not limited to installment purchase of appliances, jewelry, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promotion.
All terms and conditions relating to the use of Giftaway token code indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply.
The incentive cost equivalent is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing promos.
Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token code once sixty (60) calendar days has passed. All questions and issues will only be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.
A cardholder and transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the token code. If the cardholder does not pay for his or her balances because of his or her concern/s, Metrobank will not be liable on the accrued charges to his or her account.
Metrobank reserves the right to not accommodate and give the incentive to registered principal cardholder/s if proven that his or her PayNow transaction was made or transferred his or her own bank account.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the token code shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.
All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.
The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
