Promo Mechanics

Redemption Instructions:

• Cardholders with qualified enrollment from October 15 - November 14, 2022, and first billing until December 31, 2022, will receive the rebate in their account until March 31, 2023.
• Cardholders with qualified enrollment from November 15 - December 14, 2022, and first billing until January 31, 2023, will receive the rebate in their account until April 30, 2023.
• Cardholders with qualified enrollment from December 15, 2022 - January 14, 2023, and first billing until February 28, 2023, will receive the rebate in their account until May 31, 2023.

1. The promotion is exclusive to select Metrobank Peso Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, Travel Platinum Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, M Free Mastercard, M Lite Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Vantage Mastercard/Visa, Toyota Mastercard, Rewards Visa Plus, Cashback Visa, Corporate Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Robinsons Mastercard and NCCC Mastercard credit cardholders (CHs) who have been pre selected to avail the offer and have received the promotional SMS / Viber Message / eDM from Metrobank. The promotion is not applicable to ON Mastercard, Dollar Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

2. Qualified cardholder will receive an SMS/Viber/EDM with the following reference no. format: ROBXXXXX, RNBXXXXX, RDBXXXXX.

3. The promotion period is from October 15, 2022 to January 14, 2023.

4. To qualify for the Bills2Pay (B2P) Cashback incentive, the primary cardholder must enroll utility bills in the B2P Auto Charge Program during the promotion period. The member merchants of B2P are as follows:

   • Meralco
   • PLDT
   • Smart Telecommunications
   • Globe Telecommunications
   • Sky Cable / Sky Fiber
   • Maynilad

5. To enroll, cardholders must contact Metrobank's Contact Center at (02)88-700-700 (Metro Manila) or 1-800-1-888-5775 (Domestic Toll-Free). All applications are subject to Metrobank credit evaluation and approval. For more information about B2P, go to https://mbcpc.co/Bills2Pay.

6. After successful enrollments, the cardholder must ensure that his/her account is active and in current status during the promotion period.

7. Metrobank will process the B2P enrollment request with the B2P utility merchant for fifteen (15) business days, or based on the agreed service level with the B2P merchant, whichever is shorter.

8. Each B2P enrollment request will go through the validation of Metrobank and the B2P utility merchant. Meanwhile, the B2P utility merchant reserves the right to evaluate the accuracy and validity of the utility bill information provided by the cardholder.

10. First billing must appear in the qualified cardholder’s statement of account (SOA) within the specified first billing period below. The 5% Rebate will be credited to the cardholder’s statement of account (SOA) with the transaction description: B2P 5% Rebate – (Name of B2P Merchant) on or before 15th of the month (for 3 consecutive months) after the 1st Billing B2P Appeared.

    To illustrate:

    • SMS Reference Number (Base) = ROBXXXXX
    • Enrollment Date = Nov. 04, 2022
    • 1st Billing Appeared = Nov. 28, 2022
    • 1st crediting of the 5% rebate = Dec. 15, 2022
    • 2nd crediting of the 5% rebate = Jan. 15, 2022
    • 3rd crediting of the 5% rebate = Feb. 15, 2022

    

11. A cardholder will qualify for the incentive for every new enrollment within the specified promo period.

12. Cardholder must ensure that the B2P enrollment is active for at least 12 months. Otherwise, the rebate will be charged back to the cardholder for disenrollment. It shall appear in the SOA with transaction description - B2P 5% Rebate – (Name of B2P Merchant) - Reversal.

13. The cashback is non-transferrable and non-convertible to cash.

14. A cardholder and transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the crediting of rebate. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account arising from non-settlement of outstanding obligations.

15. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the rebate shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s creditcard account.

16. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

17. All terms and conditions applicable under the Bills2Pay Auto Charge Program will apply.

18. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions.
