Business fixed rate treasury notes

Treasury notes, also known as T-notes, are a type of debt security issued by the Philippine government. T-notes are often considered a low-risk investment since they are backed by the Philippine government.

Minimum amount

Treasury notes offer a low barrier to entry with a minimum investment amount of only PHP 200,000.

Term

Metrobank treasury notes come in three tenor options: 91-day, 182-day, and 364-day. These correspond with common investment periods such as quarters or yearly cycles.

Price and interest payments

Interest payments for treasury notes are paid in advance rather than in arrears. At maturity, these notes have a redemption price of 100% of their face value.
