DEFINITIONS
In these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), unless the context otherwise requires;
a. “Bank” or “Metrobank” means Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company;
b. “Card” means the Toyota Platinum Card issued by the Bank and includes a supplementary card where the context requires;
c. “Card Account” means the account maintained with Bank in respect of the Card;
d. "Cardholder" or “Card Member” means the principal cardholder, the person in whose name the card account is maintained and includes the supplementary Cardholder where the context requires;
e. “Rewards” means any goods, services, benefits, arrangements or other privileges (including without limitation, miles on participating airline frequent flyer programs, loyalty program points, cash credit or annual membership fee waivers), as may be solely determined by the Bank, which may be redeemed by the use of Rewards Points under the Program;
f. "Rewards Points” referred to as Points hereafter, means the points earned through usage of the Card as specified in these Terms and Conditions, which may be used to redeem Rewards;
g. “Program” means this Toyota Platinum Credit Card Rewards Program;
h. “Purchase” means a purchase of any goods or services by the use of the Card and may, without prior notice, include any card transaction as may be determined solely by the Bank;
i. “Network” refers to Mastercard;
j. “You” or “Your” means the Card Member, the principal cardholder in whose name the Card Account is maintained. This term may also include the supplementary cardholder where the context requires.
GENERAL POLICIES
2.1 The foregoing Terms and Conditions shall be read together with the Metrobank Rewards Terms and Conditions and Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions published in the Metrobank website. In case of conflict insofar as the product and commercial features are concerned, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
2.2 Your activation and/or continued use of the Card shall mean your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as well as the Metrobank Rewards Terms and Conditions.
2.3 Metrobank reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Program as deemed necessary with prior notice in a manner Metrobank deems appropriate, without prejudice to approved applications prior thereto.
2.4 These Terms and Conditions may be modified by Metrobank in its sole discretion from time to time upon at least sixty (60) days’ prior notice, unless otherwise directed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, existing laws, rules and regulations. Changes will be announced through any of the following channels: Statement of Account, email, SMS blast, website posting, or through other modes determined sufficient by Metrobank.
2.5 Metrobank shall be entitled to engage an agent or service provider to carry out any, all, or part of the Program on its behalf. To this end, the Cardholder consents and hereby authorizes Metrobank to supply any such agent or service provider with such information as may be necessary or required for them to perform their duties.
PARTICIPATION
3.1 Your Card Account is entitled to participate in the Program at the date of commencement of the Program or the date when the Card is issued to you, whichever is later; provided that your Card Account is and remains in good credit standing, as determined by Bank in its sole discretion.
3.2 Good credit standing refers to cardholders whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraudulent activities, those whose Metrobank credit cards are not reported lost or stolen, and those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Metrobank Credit Cards.
3.3 Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify any Cardholder from further participation in the Program in any event of default enumerated in the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions.

3.5 Any dispute concerning the products or services of Toyota shall be settled directly between the cardholder and the respective Toyota dealer. Metrobank shall not be responsible for any liability in the event of such dispute.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOYOTA PLATINUM CARD DOUBLE REWARDS AT PREFERRED TOYOTA DEALER
4.1 The Toyota Platinum Card Double Rewards program is open to all principal and supplementary Metrobank Toyota Platinum Card credit cardholders only
4.2 The Cardholder shall earn Rewards Points for all transactions made using his/her Toyota Platinum Card excluding but not limited to, cash advances, Cash2Go Installment, Balance Transfer, Conversion to Installment, PayBills, PayNow, and all others types of fees and penalties such as annual fees, interest and finance charges, late payment charges, etc.
4.3 Cardholders shall earn two (2) Rewards Points for every P20 spend at the Card Member’s preferred Toyota dealer and swiped at Metrobank’s point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
4.4 Card Member shall nominate their preferred Toyota dealer upon credit card application. If in case there is no nominated dealer at point of application, customer can call the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline to nominate or change preferred Toyota dealer. Furthermore, Card Member will not be eligible for the offer if they do not nominate any preferred Toyota dealer.
4.5 Rewards Points earned by a supplementary Card Member shall automatically be credited to the principal Card Member’s account. The supplementary Card Member shall automatically be assigned the same preferred Toyota dealer as the Principal Card Member to earn double Rewards Points for transactions made at the said Toyota dealer.
4.6 Rewards Points earned will be automatically credited to the Card Member’s account within two (2) statement cycles from the posting date of the qualified purchase.
4.7 Converted Rewards Points shall be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
4.8 Rewards Points earned from the program can be exchanged from rewards items specified in the relevant Rewards Catalog, applied as payment for annual fees, converted to air miles or donated to charity by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 or 1-800-1888- 5775 (domestic toll-free).
4.9 Rewards Points are only redeemable by the Cardholder if the Card Account is active and remains in good credit standing at the time of redemption and that all foreign currency, hotel stays and online transactions have been duly posted and not cancelled. Unused Rewards Points will be forfeited after voluntary or involuntary cancellation of the Toyota Platinum Card.
4.10 Rewards Points are not cancelable, not transferable and are not convertible to cash (but redeemable via cash credit). Other than their intended use in this Program, the Rewards Points hold no other commercial or financial value.
4.11 All questions and disputes regarding eligibility of transactions for Rewards Points or for redemption of rewards will be resolved by Metrobank at its sole discretion. Metrobank reserves the right to reverse or charge to the Cardholder’s credit card account the equivalent Rewards Points earned on transactions that were subsequently cancelled or charged back due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
4.12 The current Metrobank Card Rewards Catalog Terms and Conditions shall apply in a suppletory manner in the accumulation, duration and redemption of Rewards Points earned from the Program.
4.13 Metrobank reserves the right to change the types of transactions and or amount of Rewards Points, categories which are eligible for Rewards Points or suspend, cancel or discontinue the Program with prior notice.
4.14 The Cardholder may refer to Annex A for the complete and updated list of authorized Toyota Dealers nationwide.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOYOTA PLATINUM CARD 10% DISCOUNT AT TOYOTA DEALERS
5.1 The Toyota 10% Discount Program “Discount Program” is open to all principal and supplementary Toyota Platinum Card credit cardholders in good credit standing only.
5.2 The Cardholder is entitled to a 10% discount on Toyota genuine parts, genuine accessories, and labor at all Toyota dealers nationwide.
5.3 The 10% discount on Labor shall apply to any Periodic Maintenance, General Service and/or Body & Paint Service repairs only.
5.4 The 10% discount on Parts is not applicable on the following: a. Tires b. Non-genuine batteries (12-volt) c. Non-genuine accessories d. 0% deferred payment transactions e. Insurance claimed repairs deductible and betterment allowance for parts
5.5 Other Terms and Conditions: a. Only vehicles registered in the Cardholder’s name, whether principal or supplementary, may qualify for the Discount Program. b. If the vehicle is registered under the name of the principal Cardholder and the credit card to be used is under the name of the supplementary Cardholder, or vice versa, an authorization letter and a photocopy of the front of the registered vehicle owner’s Toyota Platinum Card showing the last 4-digits of the card must be presented to the Toyota dealer.
5.6 The Discount Program cannot be applied in conjunction with other ongoing discounts, promos and programs such as but not limited to Toyota Sure Service and fleet account discount programs.
5.7 Metrobank reserves the right to change the types of eligible products or services, discount rate, and other conditions or suspend, cancel or discontinue the discount program with prior notice.
5.8 The terms and conditions may be modified by Metrobank in its sole discretion from time to time, and any such change is deemed to be binding on the Cardholder upon at least sixty (60) days’ prior notice, unless otherwise directed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, existing laws, rules and regulations.
5.9 Any changes in these terms and conditions, the eligible transactions and discount rate, among others, shall be communicated to Cardholders via the following channels: i. Cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA); ii.The Metrobank website www.metrobank.com.ph); or iii. Other official channels of Metrobank (e.g. branch, social media, etc.) It shall be the Cardholder’s responsibility to regularly check Metrobank’s official websites and other official channels for any changes or announcements related to the Toyota Platinum Card, other Metrobank credit cards and Metrobank’s Privacy Policy. The Cardholder’s continued use of the Toyota Platinum Card shall constitute his/her acceptance of these terms and conditions as amended.
5.10 The Cardholder may refer to Annex A for the complete and updated list of authorized Toyota Dealers nationwide.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOYOTA PLATINUM CARD 3% REBATE ON TOLL FEES & FUEL SPEND AT ALL GAS STATIONS
6.1 The Toll and Fuel Rebate Program is open to all principal and supplementary Toyota Platinum Card credit cardholders in good credit standing only (“Cardholder”).
6.2 The Cardholder is entitled to a 3% or PHP15,000 annual toll and fuel rebate, capped at PHP 1,250 per month.
6.3 Eligible toll fee rebates would be earned from load top-up transactions using the Toyota Platinum Card made through local or global toll fee apps that allow credit card payments. Eligible fuel transactions must be transacted using the Toyota Platinum Card at any gas station globally.
6.4 Toll fees and fuel transactions should be tagged under the following Merchant Category Codes: 5541, 5542, and 4784. Transactions outside of these Merchant Category Codes are not included in the offer.
6.5 The rebate shall be credited to the principal Toyota Platinum Card Cardholders’ account within two (2) statement cycles from the posting date of eligible transactions.
6.6 The rebates earned per fuel transaction and toll load-up in the previous statement cycle will be accumulated before crediting and posting to cardholder’s next Statement of Account (SOA) reflected as “Fuel and Toll Rebate”.
6.7 The annual cap shall combine the rebates earned by the Principal Cardholder and his/her Supplementary Cardholder/s, if any.
6.8 The rebate may be availed by Cardholders who use their Toyota Platinum Card to purchase fuel and/or toll for private consumption only and not for commercial use. Metrobank reserves the right to exclude any single or set of transactions from the computation of the fuel rebate/s or reverse any previously credited rebates if the transaction/s was/were unauthorized, fraudulent or entered into in violation of this provision.
6.9 Metrobank reserves the right to change the types of transactions, rebate rates, list of merchant partners, categories which are eligible for rebates or suspend, cancel or discontinue the Fuel Rebate Program with prior notice.
6.10 The terms and conditions may be modified by Metrobank in its sole discretion from time to time, and any such change is deemed to be binding on the Cardholder upon at least sixty (60) days’ prior notice, unless otherwise directed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, existing laws, rules and regulations. Cardholder shall be responsible in informing the co-obligor (if any) of these Terms and Conditions.
6.11 Any changes in these terms and conditions, the eligible transactions and rebate rates that can be earned, among others, shall be communicated to Cardholders via the following channels: a. Cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA); b. The Metrobank website www.metrobank.com.ph; or c. Metrobank’s official social media accounts.
6.12 It shall be the Cardholder’s responsibility to regularly check Metrobank’s official websites and other official channels for any changes or announcements related to the Toyota Platinum Card, other Metrobank credit cards and Metrobank’s Privacy Policy. The Cardholder’s activation and continued use of the Toyota Platinum Card shall constitute his/her acceptance of these terms and conditions as amended.
6.13 The use of the Toyota Platinum Card is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Metrobank Credit Cards.
6.14 By using the Toyota Platinum Card under this program, the Cardholder acknowledges that he/she has read, fully understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
