Sending money to the Philippines is now easier than ever. Introducing the MetroRemit Singapore App e-wallet, powered by FlexM. Now, you can top up and remit on the go.
With this new feature, you can top up your account via two ways:
- Cash in at any 7-Eleven
- Online transfer from your Singaporean bank account
Download the MetroRemit App now from the Apple App Store or Google Play to take advantage of this new feature.
How to register on the MetroRemit App
- On the app, register as a "New User" and fill in your details.
- Upload your identification documents:
- Take a photo of your National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) and a selfie.
- For Skilled Worker’s Pass (S PASS), Employment Pass (E PASS), Dependent’s Pass (D PASS), Long-term Visit Pass (LTVP), or Work Permit holders, attach your most recent proof of address.
- If you're a Domestic Worker with the address indicated on your NRIC, just tick the relevant option in the form.
- Take a photo of your National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) and a selfie.
- Fill in your beneficiary’s details.
After you submit your details, a MetroRemit customer service representative will validate your information.
Once validated, you will receive your Remitter ID and temporary password via email. Use them to log in to the app.
Once you log in, type the 6-digit One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your email. From there you can start using the app.
How to add a beneficiary
- Select "Beneficiary," tap "Add Beneficiary" at the bottom, and follow the instructions to add your beneficiary and their contact details.
- Choose the mode of payment: Cash Pick-up ("Anywhere"), Bills Payment, or Bank-to-Bank.
- Type your beneficiary's account details, if applicable. Then, tap "Next."
- Double-check the beneficiary details and tap "Confirm."
- Enter the OTP sent to your email to validate the added beneficiary.
After doing these steps, a MetroRemit customer service representative will validate the information.
You will receive an email to confirm that you successfully added a new beneficiary.
How to top up your e-wallet
- Log in to MetroRemit and select "Wallet”, then select "Top Up”.
- Enter the desired amount.
- Choose the payment method.
When paying via 7-Eleven, present the QR code and say you will pay via "FlexM.”
When paying via PayNow, there are two methods:
- Save the QR code, scan it in your bank's app, and complete the payment.
- Use your banking app to pay by entering the Unique Entity Number (UEN), top-up amount, and Transfer Reference No. (DICN).
Easily track the status of your transactions through the "Transaction Status" section of the MetroRemit App. Your official receipt will be securely sent to your email with password protection.
