Product Mechanics for MB Invest and Protect

1. MB Invest and Protect is open to clients of Metrobank’s Investment Distribution Division and Private Wealth Division.

2. Product offer: Invest in Metrobank’s 1-year Time Deposit and AXA Philippines’s Asset Master (GIO only) and get a special 1-year Time Deposit Rate.

3. Offering Period: 08 March 2021 to 17 May 2021

4. Eligibility requirement:

a. Client must have a risk profile of Aggressive and Sophisticated.

1. Time Deposit and Asset Master are booked when the Asset Master application is approved and issued.

2. MB Invest and Protect is applicable to fresh funds only.

3. The currency of Metrobank’s 1-year Time Deposit and AXA Philippines’s Asset Master should be the same.

4. Three Asset Mixes are available for product:

a. Asset Mix 1: 40% 1-year Time Deposit and 60% Asset Master

b. Asset Mix 2: 30% 1-year Time Deposit and 70% Asset Master

c. Asset Mix 3: 20% 1-year Time Deposit and 80% Asset Master

1. Minimum Amount a. PHP 1-year Time Deposit and PHP Asset Master: PHP 10,000,000.00 b. USD 1-year Time Deposit and USD Asset Master: USD 200,000.00

2. The higher 1-year Time Deposit rate booked during the offering period will be reduced to the regular 1-year Time Deposit rate commencing on value date of the Time Deposit if funds are withdrawn from AXA Philippines’s Asset Master due to Asset Master’s cooling-off provision.

3. The higher 1-year Time Deposit rate booked during the offering period will be reduced to the regular 1-year Time Deposit rate commencing on value date of Time Deposit if the Time Deposit is pre-terminated during Asset Master’s cooling-off period. The Asset Master’s cooling-off period shall be 15days, immediately following the day you receive the Asset Master policy.

4. The higher 1-year Time Deposit rate will be not applied if client has prior single premium policy withdrawals during the offering period.

5. AXA Philippines’s Asset Master is not a deposit product. Earnings are not assured and principal amount invested is exposed to risk of loss. This product cannot be sold to you unless its benefits and risks have been thoroughly explained. If you do not fully understand this product, do not purchase or invest in it.

       The Asset Master Plan contract is between AXA Philippines, an affiliate of METROBANK and the person indicated in this contract as the policy owner. All transactions arising out of or related to this contract shall be binding only between these two (2) contracting parties. It is understood that the Asset Master transaction is neither insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation nor guaranteed by METROBANK.

1. All questions or disputes regarding the client’s eligibility for MB Invest and Protect shall be resolved by Metrobank. In case of dispute arising from the Time Deposit, Metrobank’s decision shall prevail. Questions or disputes arising regarding Asset Master product will be referred to AXA Philippines.
