Avoid getting scammed: here are the official Metrobank contact details

Metrobank is committed to protecting your privacy and fighting fraud with you. When dealing with information from companies or individuals, whether it’s through SMS, email, or messenger apps, consider the possibility it might be a scam.

To protect yourself from fraud, always verify if the information you receive is from a legitimate source. As scammers get more creative, it’s important to stay vigilant so you can be one step ahead of them.

Here are the official contact details that Metrobank uses to communicate with you.

Remember, Metrobank will NOT initiate calls, SMS, emails, or chats to ask for your bank account details. If you receive a call or message from an unknown and unverified source:

  • Be alert and do not believe everything you are told.
  • Do not give your email address, mobile number, passwords, Personal Identification Number (PIN), One-Time Password (OTP), or Card Verification Value (CVV), the 3-digit code found at the back of your card.
  • Do not click on unverified links and buttons.

On your next visit to our branch, make sure your mobile number and email address are updated. If you suspect fraud, call the Metrobank Contact Center at (02) 88-700-700, 1-800-1888-5775, or email us at customercare@metrobank.com.ph using "Report on Possible Fraud" as subject.
