Card Activation for new Metrobank App users:

1. Download the Metrobank App.
2. Sign up on the app with your new card.
3. Go to your dashboard and tap “Activate Card”.
4. Input your 6-digit passcode to confirm activation.

Card Activation for existing Metrobank App users:

1. On your Metrobank App, open the side bar, then tap “My Accounts”.
2. Select “Credit”.
3. Tap “+ Enroll” to add/enroll card.
4. View your account details and tap "Activate" on the card image.
5. Input your 6-digit passcode to confirm activation.

Note: This process also applies for renewed/replaced cards. Supplementary cards can also be activated by the Primary Cardholder in the Primary Cardholder's app. Make sure you have your physical card before activating it.

SMS

Activate your new Metrobank credit card through SMS by following these steps:

1. Have your credit card details ready.
2. Text 225622 using this format: ACT <16-digit card number>

     Example: ACT 9876543210000000
3. Wait for the credit card activation confirmation message.
