Terms & Conditions
Registration: The principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber message or e-mail blast containing the registration process at the start of the promo period. Once received, the principal cardholder must register by:
a. Visiting metrobankcard.mymcc.gift
b. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database
c. In the Available Promos section, click “Checkout +” and enter mobile to register in the promo
d. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration
Qualified Transactions: Includes all online/MOTO/eCommerce transactions made local and international. Merchant Installment (0% or Shop Now, Pay Later) made online is also included in the qualified transaction. Computation of accumulated spend is via customer level.
Redemption of Cash Rebate in a Form of eGC:
a. Visit metrobankcard.mymcc.gift
b. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database
c. In the Joined Promos section, click check progress under “Checkout +” tab and enter the registered mobile number
d. Click "Claim" and choose Metrobank Cash Rebate
e. To get the eGC, click "Use This" button to get the Cash Rebate
Only the principal cardholder can access the self-help tracker which will be updated within 5 to 7 banking days after the transaction has been made.
Change in Mobile Number: If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changed and/or updated his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.
Number of eGC Per Customer: A principal cardholder is entitled to one (1) eGC for the duration of the promo period per unique Metrobank credit card customer. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of one (1) eGC. Awarding of the eGC is on a customer level.
Availability of the Self-Help Tracker: Metrobank under MCC sender will send th eGC SMS notification for the qualified transaction starting March 29, 2023 and will be updated within 5 to 7 banking days after the transaction has been posted in the Metrobank system.
Other Details: The promo period is from March 23 to April 5, 2023. The redemption period is from March 23 to June 4, 2023.
The Promotion is open to pre-selected Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa credit cardholders in good standing. The Promotion is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.
The promo period is from March 23 to April 5, 2023. The redemption period is from March 23 to June 4, 2023.
Qualified principal cardholders can get PHP 500 cash rebate (in a form of eGC) when they use their Metrobank credit card ONLINE (local and international, straight retail and merchant installment) for a minimum single-receipt purchase of PHP 1,500.
The pre-selected customers will receive an SMS, Viber message or an eMail from MCC / Metrobank with a reference number. Cardholder who did not receive any SMS, Viber message or eMail with reference number will not be qualified for the promo. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include his or her account in the pre-selected customer for the promo.

If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changed and/or updated his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period. A registered customer will not be automatically registered in the promo if he or she changed or updated his or her mobile number.
To avail of the promo, a principal cardholder must register and follow the registration process stated in number 5 promo mechanics. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after the successful registration. No confirmatory SMS means the registration is not successful. Metrobank will only acknowledge a successful registration if the principal cardholder received the successful SMS.
A registered cardholder will start earning eGC for his or her transaction/s one (1) hour after he or she received the successful SMS. Transaction/s made before the successful registration will NOT earn and qualify for an eGC. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to include and send eGCs for transactions made before successful registration.
Note: The metrobankcard.mymcc.gift powered by Giftaway will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.
Supplementary cardholder/s is/are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s.
By completing cardholders’ registration, he or she agrees that his personal informational shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.
A visual transaction and incentive tracker where all qualified transaction and incentive will be available to registered cardholders starting by March 29, 2023. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker which will be updated within 5 to 7 banking days after the transaction has been posted in Metrobank system. Metrobank will no longer send token SMS with links in compliance with the BSP Memorandum No. M-2022-015.

Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in the number of entitled token codes.
A principal cardholder is entitled to one (1) eGC for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of one (1) eGC.
The eGC entitlement will be based on customer level.
Metrobank will no longer accommodate request of the cardholder in re-sending requests for token codes such as, but not limited to the following reasons:
The registered cardholder who reached the minimum spend will receive a qualified or confirmation SMS from Metrobank or can visit the self-help tracker and can redeem the eGC to cash rebate. Once the eGC is redeemed at One Giftaway Website (metrobankcard.mymcc.gift), the cash rebate will be credited to the cardholder’s account 60 days after the end of the redemption period. Metrobank will not accommodate request of the cardholder to credit the cash rebate if cardholder did not click the redemption button in One Giftaway Website. The cash rebate will be credited to the account where the transaction was made.
The cash earned under this promo will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account with the transaction description: Checkout +: (Name of the Merchant)|(Transaction Date)
The redemption period is within sixty (60) calendar days after the receipt of the SMS or upload of the eGC in the self-help tracker. All redemption requests made after June 4, 2023 or sixty (60) calendar days the end of the promo period will not be accommodated. All unredeemed token code/s will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS and self-help tracker.
Metrobank will not accommodate the request of a cardholder to cancel, reverse or apply for another incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made. All redemptions will be considered final. It’s the cardholder obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive is correct.
“Qualified Transactions” includes all online/MOTO/eCommerce transactions made local and international. Merchant Installment (0% or Shop Now, Pay Later) made online is also included in the qualified transaction.
“Non-Qualified Transactions” includes other retail and merchant installment purchase / transactions that are not made online/MOTO/eCommerce, PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promotion.
All terms and conditions relating to the use of Universal Giftaway eGCs redemption indicated in the Giftaway redemption portal shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Universal Giftaway eGCs shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.
The incentive cost equivalent is VALID in conjunction with any ongoing promos.
Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the eGC once sixty (60) calendar days has passed. All questions and issues will only be accepted within sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the promo period, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.
A cardholder and transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the eGCs. If the cardholder does not pay for his or her balances because of his or her concern/s, Metrobank will not be liable on the accrued charges to his or her account.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the eGCs shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.
All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.
The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.
