Metrobank Mobile App update to protect your transactions

The in-app OTP (one-time password) Generator and biometric authentication for transactions will be disabled and all clients will receive transaction OTPs via SMS.

You must update the Metrobank Mobile App installed on your mobile phone to the latest version for the security enhancements to take effect. You can download the latest version from Google Play or Huawei Gallery if you are using an Android device, or from the Apple App Store if you have an iOS device.

The latest version of the Metrobank Mobile App will require SMS-based OTP to authorize transactions such as send and move money, pay bills, cash pick-up, cardless withdrawals, and others.

The SMS-based OTP replaces the OTP Generator and biometric authentication features. If you have activated these, you will automatically receive your OTPs as SMS.

Alternatively, and for clients overseas, you may transact using Metrobank Online on your web browser.

Your security is our number one priority. Do not share your bank and personal details with anyone. These include your username, password, ATM personal identification numbers (PIN) and CVVs, OTP, and others.

To get the latest security features of the Metrobank Mobile App, please check in regularly or set your device to automatically update to the newest version.
